Indexed
For a while now I've been watching as people posted about being indexed ranked and so forth and yet nothing seemed to be happening with my site. I knew that I had just started, but still I was beginning to doubt myself and my ability to write quality pieces.
I knew comparing myself to others was no good so I just kept doing what I was supposed to be doing and making my site better each day and guess what the strategy worked googler has now indexed me. My next step is to keep up with the momentum and get myself indexed.
Looks like I owe myself a celebration for the win.

Congratulations on being indexed by Google. It's a great first step. Your next step is to write good content that gets ranked for your desired keywords/search terms.
Just so that you're clear, there's a difference between being indexed and being ranked. Indexed simply means that your website's pages and posts appear in Google's database and can be found by their URLs. This happens automatically as Googlebot crawls the web but can be speeded up by using Google Search Console. Each page and post is indexed individually. There's no such thing as "the site". It's a collection of pages and posts.
Pages and posts are ranked for particular keywords/search terms. This is what you're striving for. So that your post comes up on page 1 when someone enters that keyword/search term.
Phil,
I seem to remember hearing about some of the things you mentioned in your post. As long as they know I exist it's a good start in my book now I hoping to get some good content written so that I can rank and get some good organic Google traffic.

Djerec,
I always celebrate my wins. Nothing says awesome blogger like a winning party. Just kidding. But I do like to reward myself a little when things go right.
Elodie,
Consistency and Focus have become two of my favorite words of late. It seems like the more consistent I am the more focused I become. Thanks for your kind words. I appreciate them, very much.

That’s great! Just remember we are all at a different stage in our journey. You are very right don’t compare yourself.
Keep writing. You can always request indexing for a post that you’ve written to bring it to Googles attention faster. (In the Google Search Console.)
Also, make sure you have a site map submitted to your Google Search Console as well.
Once your site is indexed and a post is indexed next will be on to ranking! :)
You’ve got this!
Lisamarie,
Thanks for the good advice. My only issue is how do you create a site map to send to google? If you could send me a dm about it I would appreciate it very much. Thanks again
