New temporary job + Following frenzy + First commission!
Alright, I've not been very active on WA for the last 10 days. I will explain you why.
New temporary job
Build my website(s) full time is good and all but it doesn't (yet) bring money home. So I had to find a job to pay the bills (well, mostly my debt).
So since August 22th, I'm a postman ("facteur" in French). I started on a Wednesday, and worked until Saturday. Those first few days were quite hard on my brain.
New job means learning everything. For 4 days, I came back home with an overloaded mind and so wasn't really able to do anything after work. Plus, this new job starts at 7am, and I'm not really a morning person.
Anyway, this week was better, I did not feel tired (mentally) after work anymore. But it didn't mean I had time to work extra hours or to go on WA. Between helping a friend out of depression and helping my uncle and aunt closing their business, I've been busy.
Following Frenzy
So the only thing I found time (and energy) for was to follow people at WA. Many followed me back, and left me a message on my profile. So many I had to disable email notifications because it was filling up my inbox!
Anyway, I've read all the messages, I'm thankful to anyone who took the time to write something. I'm sorry I haven't yet replied but I promise I will when I find some time.
First commission!
At last, my first commission happened! It's really not much, 15 cents, but at least it's here. I hope this it's the first of many to come.
Now I need to keep adding content to my websites. I'm fired up!
Update 1: This job is only for 3 and a half weeks, after that I got some other, more interesting work!
Update 2: Since someone asked, I got those 15 cents from Amazon!

Hang in there, Jonathan. I'm a store manager and have those days, too. Some 12 hour days, I still have a little energy but not often. I have Wi-Fi issues too sometimes and that makes it less motivating. I push myself because I know soon it will pay off. We can do this!!!! We are like Thomas the Train...hahaha
Yeah, I'm used to work more than 10 hours per day.
I don't have Wi-Fi issues though, but that don't mean I don't have some period when I get a little depressed. But that usually doesn't last a very long time, ah ah.
I don't understand the reference to Thomas the Train, probably because I'm French (can't be perfect, lol).
Well, that's not really a pleasant job, more a needy job. The good thing is next I will do a more interesting job that pays way much more!

Not the best product, but as long as I can earn money, I don't care ;) !
Yes Jonathan, the unexpected pleasant surprises are much more awarding than the money.

Thats life, we have to go with the flow. There are some days I spend 3 hours on WA and my websites, and others when I will go a day or two without doing anything. It all depends on what comes up. Congrats on the 15Cents. That means someone found your website and liked it enough to follow the link and purchase! Its only the beginning.
