Does Amazon care if you use cloaking links like prettylink or otherwise link to their products without specifically having the link text with the word 'Amazon' in it? Apparently t
Amazon does not allow the "cloaking" or misdirection of visitors, making them think they are not on Amazon.com, or somehow making your link look different than it actually is.
Using prettylinks or a link shortening service is OK because it's a redirect, not a "cloak".
You may run into some people using the word "cloaking" more freely. They may describe prettylink as a link cloaking plugin, but in my opinion, it's not (unless you buy the premium version, which contains different features).

I just don't "mask" my amazon links on my website, but do use a link shortening service if I put links in YouTube. Link shorteners are OK, as outlined here: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/t64/a1
Amazon does not specify. I don't cloak any links. As long as the link takes them to Amazon, they are fine!
