If you pay close attention to the words people use, you can learn a lot about what is going on inside their heads. Just remember, your own words also tell a tale.

Upgrade your Performance

If you want to immediately upgrade your performance, listen to the words you speak. Analyze your spoken words. Learn to STOP unconsciously program yourself to perform below your capabilities.

Improve your ability to focus and pay attention to your spoken words. Choose your words wisely and use them to your advantage.

Wiggle Words

Do you subconsciously use 'SAFE WORDS' that allow you wiggle room to procrastinate even more and postpone the important stuff that would actually get you moving forward in life? These 'safe words' are common crutch words that take up space and actually dilute the power of your work. Believe it !

Here are 4 crutch words that make you weak:

• Need
• Can't
• Bad
• Try

I need to find more ....products, suppliers, information, sales, work etc.

I can't understand ......the work, information, training material.

I can't do this now. (Probably also not tomorrow because tomorrow never comes)

I'm bad at.... discipline, sticking to a schedule, remaining focused etc.

I'm trying, but it's not working out!

This may seem like some strange motivational post, but trust me... there is a lot of truth in this. Understanding how to hack your language is an important and free activity that you can do to improve your performance in literally anything that you do.

If you want your mind to do all the things it can do, then you have to give it the correct software - and your language is part of that software.

Hack your Language

For the next week, consciously recognize which 'crutch' words are holding you back. Then start to replace these 'crutch' words with words of opportunity.

Opportunity words include the following:

• I am
• I will
• I must
• I can

I must find more innovations, products, solutions, suppliers, sales etc.

I will find a better supplier, freight forwarder, shipping agent etc.

I am mastering my schedule, workload, goals etc.

I can accomplish all these tasks before close of business today.

Believe me, it works !

This is one of the most critical steps to master when you want to succeed in practically anything. The power to convert procrastination crutch words into positive activity action words.

Just Do It

Be Present. Do what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity, we only have this moment.
