That's on everyone's mind.

  • Mine and many other industries are devastated.
  • Many will never recover.
  • Most industries will never be the same.
  • Some have reconfigured and adapted, totally changing direction.

I just saw a distillery in our area that has changed direction and is now making hand sanitizer with the same equipment they made liquor! Hiring many new people.

Will it last? Maybe not, but he can go back to the liquor when that market is saturated.

Some companies who were making industrial equipment are now making ventilators, so desperately needed.

Companies who were making t-shirts are now making face masks, which the hospitals are begging for.

Some people are taking the lemons that they have been handed and are making lemonade!

You can crawl in your hole and ND hope this will soon disappear, or you can treat the crisis as an opportunity.

Ball's in your court. Whine or win... It's totally up to you.

I just read a post by my friend Edwin: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/edwinbernard/blog/think-and-...

He is taking a great book and writing posts on each chapter! Can't think of anything to write about? Follow Edwin's example.

Just do it!

The one thing in life I have always been blessed with is the ability to change direction. I was an auto mechanic, carpenter, after that for many years, well until 2007, then I became a stagehand, and live audio, rigging, so many different things.

Now I am learning how to build a website again, and how to write and teach. And thanks to everything shutting down, I have the whole day to myself to work on it and figure it all out.

Oh ya, also learning how to be a salesman, I have a bunch of stuff for sale right now, rent is always due. Lol.

You'll do great here
Joe

I think that is the perfect analogy for this situation. We have all been handed some lemons, but why not make our version of lemonade!
The great thing is, lemonade can take on my different twists, we can just add our own and get to sharing it!

Always something to learn and do.
Thanks!
Heidi
