Crab into the wind!
Pilots try to land "into the wind."
- Not all runways allow that, and the wind sometimes blows across the runway.
- To compensate, the pilot has to turn the plane "into the wind" on landing...
- Rolling out just before touching down on the runway.
- It's quite a feat, not always ending well!
Sometimes the wind blows in the wrong direction on the internet!
- Not everything goes as planned... markets change... circumstances change.
- Are you prepared to "crab into the wind" to land on the internet?
- If not, prepare to crash... make the necessary adjustments as they change.
- Far too many don't realize there is a change in the wind till they land...
- Many don't make the adjustments needed when business changes...
Do you have a plan B... or C?
- If you chose the wrong niche, do you keep digging the hole deeper...
- Do you change to something that is working... different product... different service?
- Can you adjust quickly? The Pandemic has destroyed some businesses...
- Yet, some have thrived because they made the change... how about you?
How about this quote from William Arthur Ward:
"The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails."
Have you adjusted your sails to the wind? Are you "crabbing into the wind."

If you continue like this it seems to me that I will become a great airplane pilot. Despite the terror I have felt on every flight I have made. Thanks a lot Joe!
Hi Joe.
I am here for the long haul and hope I have what it takes to adjust my sails.
I do know that the chances of failure are very real but I'm willing to fight for it.

Another cracking quote amidst an awesome post.
It's imperative that we are, at least, open to change. Let's be honest, if everything went the way we wanted it too, then we'd all be successful, all of the time.

I really love this blog partly because it is inspired by aircraft analogies. And the advice is always good- more so they can last a lifetime. What I will add though is that even on the right path/niche, there will still be crabs in the sail, so adjusting them sails is a must anywhere
True. Thanks.
