Google Trends is a fairly new site that I have been using. If you have checked it out, give it a try. I really like it because it shows all of the current stories being searched on Google around the world. Additionally, you can put a key word and see the trending that the search key word has had over the past several years.

Tonight the top story was Gun Control. So, I put Gun Control into Google Trends and I was shocked to see the highest the term was search was when Obama was discussing tighter gun control.

It's very interesting the things you can learn from Google Trends.
