You have some good advice here, Joe. I am just starting out with YouTube myself and still have my L-Plates on. Have a great day.

Hi - but you have to remember that the time of day will be different throughout the world.

So, you need to check your analytics to determine where the majority of your audience is based first.

For example, I am in the UK, but my audience has an almost equal split between here and the US.

So, if I were to do a video at 8 pm UK time, then my American audience would still be at work!

You will have to experiment and see what works best.

You are well covered here with some excellent advice, and guidance.

Please let us know if you still have any questions.

Hi, Joe

One good way is to search for videos on YouTube dot com in your niche and see which ones are getting lots of views. Also, watch them and take notes on the content they cover and how you can make them even more helpful.

Then, extract the target keywords from those video titles, which you can also check in Jaaxy, and look at the video results on page one of Google in an incognito tab.

Remember, YouTube is owned by Google. 😎

it's just a different medium to learn....
you have to learn how to rank within youtube, but after that then google does give you an advantage and show the video results at the top....
but it is not a fast track and is getting a lot more competitive nowadays....
you may prefer creating videos to creating blog posts - s othat would be an advantage....
what normally happens is you start off with your phone....then you think you want to get more professional and get cameras and mics...
then you start editing hte videos for the best performance....
so it is almost the inverse of blogging....taking less time at the beginning and a lot more later on when you get into the editing....

What works best, instead of an either/or is to do both, as they go hand in hand with each other. In other words, build out your home base, your website, creating the great content as you're taught here step by step, then as you start laying that foundation of content, start creating YouTube content for those articles you've already published to your site. The video will perfectly embed in your article improving your user experience AND it's simultaneously ranking over in YouTube bringing a whole new audience to your work :)

YouTube was a major factor in my success because of that exact approach.

Hey Joe,

A video channel is like a website (actually, it IS a website). It has to be optimized properly, you need to stick with one niche, provide quality content that viewers want, be prepared to answer comments... and more.

There is no magic wand. Never has been, never will be.

If that it the route you want to take, then I recommend you go through several different tutorials here on the WA platform, in order to be better equipped to take on the challenges of starting on another platform in which to do business on.

See screen print below...

Hope you find this helpful.

YouTube:

Pros:
Visual Engagement
SEO Benefits
Monetization Options
Community Engagement
No Need for Hosting

Cons:
Equipment and Skills
Time-Consuming
High Competition
Dependence on Platform

Blogging:

Pros:
Low Startup Costs
SEO Benefits
Ownership
Easier Content Creation

Cons:
Time to Rank
Content Promotion
Technical Challenges

I believe YouTube is more effective, but you'd need a backbone website blogging, making social media platforms accessories to your business.

A) Just update last years

We are going to be reaching out as we get closer to this year's Black Friday offer, but it is going to be different than it has in past years. You will want to create a fresh article this year to represent the Black Friday offer. :)

We do not know the particulars of this year's promotion till nearer the date and what you want to update it to. Also, you would make this decision depending on how ranked the post is in the search engines.

Now that would save a lot of time! I hope everything turns out for you and you get the results your looking for. I'm not answering the question because I don't no a 100% answer but I do wish you luck!

Thank you for your notes :)
