low hanging fruit is a term that describes keywords that are eay to rank for usually ones with 50 are best to go for in my opinion but 100 is also okay. hope that helps

On the Jaaxy app, hover over the small question mark to read the explanations.

thank you...I didn't see this in the video.

I began with a broad niche and as I began to research it here, I was able to target an area within the niche. My website has the broader niche as my niche, but I would like to

Your "niche" isn't a specific thing you select from a drop-down list. It's just what your online business is about. Sure, your domain name should be related to it, but it's really defined by your content and the products you promote.

There's nothing wrong with a broad niche. Just use topic clusters to niche down and promote products within that sub-niche. Then do another one. And so on.

Thanks again Phil. I will keep the broad niche and drill down as needed, accordingly.

If the URL of a dot com has made a mistake, you need to purchase a new domain.

If the URL of a siterubix subdomain is, you can delete it and start again. However, I’d save my work in the site content.

(To delete a siterubix subdomain | or dot com if applicable, click details on the subdomain in site manager, onward to the next page, scroll to the bottom, and click delete.)

If the title and tagline (Just another WordPress site), settings > general edit and save changes.

Or
Appearance > Customize, then site identity. Edit the title and tagline, then publish.

If in hubs, delete and start again.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/hubs

Thanks. I was trying to edit the Hub. I can edit the brand name but for some reason I could not correct the niche under the Hub name. It looks like I have to either delete the hub or keep it. It's not the title of the website or the tagline in WordPress...I was able to change this a couple of times. It's in the Hub I created here.

That's right, you cannot edit the Niche but the brand. Np :) You may delete it and start again.

I have WordPress on my Bluehost server on another website outside of WA and there are themes, appearances, colors, plugins, etc... just a bunch of functionalities .... but here

I don’t think you understand the concept of a domain. Your domain is your web address. Just like you can only have one house per street address, same thing applies to domains. One website per domain.

And with your website you can add and remove themes as much as you like. You start with a solid one, Generate Press, but you can customize to your heart’s content.

So, is it safe to say I can associate 1-3 websites under one domain using subdomains... OR is the approach assumed in the plan is to open multiple domains and associating the websites under each one accordingly? I am trying to ascertain if the plan is providing 1-3 free websites are we getting 1-3 domains with it or 1 domain and 1-3 subdomains... Thanks for elaborating., I am a visual person so sometimes it helps to draw it out.

Each website will cover one niche. And each website will have its own domain. Focus on just one website as you're starting. Once you learn and build and start locking in your traffic you can rinse and repeat with other niche websites as well.

And it's no problem. There's no such thing as a bad question. 👍🏼

Thank you. That's what I was looking for. "Each website will have its own domain" which means I'll have to purchase multiple domains to support the free niche website(s) my plan offers.

i think you’re still misunderstanding, lol. It’s ok though. Each website has its own address, there’s no way around that. That address is its domain. The “free niche website” is referring to the free domain you get with premium membership, or free domains you get with premium plus membership 😎👍🏼 If you joined during the Black Friday discount the free domain doesn’t apply, and that might be where the confusion is. But regardless, just focus on one website starting off.

If you're using the free Starter account, you won't have access to the WordPress back office or any themes and plug-in features. Therefore, I assume you're using the starter account.

Premium Plus is 10 Websites
Premium is 3 Websites.

The prices for domain names are separate. You can host your websites on a subdomain here at Wealthy Affiliate until you purchase a .com for yourself. I hope that helps.

Delores is a premium subscriber to WA.

When you do updates to your websites:

You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh, and try again. Try the URL in a different browser or mobile device.

You can also empty the servers cache.
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache

https://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

Thanks again AP.

Awesomely welcome : )

You need to check your plan; however, I assume you can host up to three websites.

What specific thing do you need help with from the lot?

Also, please give us more info about why you think there's a glitch.

For the training that does not have a video is there a feature that would allow me to listen to the training vs. reading them

You can listen to the video webinars :) Yeah, but there are some you also have to read and for WA. Within your content, you may repurpose text to podcasts or videos.

You can input "repurpose content magistudios" in the magnifying glass top menu.

That is a good question.

Hi J~67
I located a temporary workaround. Right click on my mouse there is an option to read aloud. Select it and move my cursor to where I want the computer to read. Sounds robotic but a little better to listen when your eyes are tired.

Forgot to mention: Once you activate "Read Aloud" you can turn it off by clicking the "X" beside "Voice options". When activated you'll see a "read aloud" monitor on the left top and the "voice option" on the right top. I believe this is a Microsoft Edge or Word feature. Also, this feature is in Microsoft 10 and 11....but don't quote me. It's a feature supporting accessibility.

That's awesome and great to know :)

I grabbed a name for siterubix website which told me they were available and and want to change it to dot com but when i check it says my name is not available as dot come. Doe

Hey Delores! I understand that it is disheartening not to have the name you want for your website.
It will help, if you ask ChatGPT to give you possible names with a .com and choose from among it. You have to specify the type that you are looking to have.
Sometimes it happens that we hold on to names, only to realize it is already taken.
Then you still have to check with Site Domain whether it’s available .

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Maria 🌹

Maria, I checked and there is no "agelessessentials.com". There is a "myagelessessentials.com" focusing on body products for sale. Why was my site which was vetted by siterubix not available in the world. Is it too close to "myagelessessentials.com" because the domain agelessessentials.com is not being used in the .com world... what am I missing??? Because I did not know this before I moved the siterubix domain, I selected the hyphenated dotcom no knowing the pitfalls associated with a hyphenated domain.

However, starting with a siterubix subdomain may be better until you are happy with your niche and name, as you cannot edit the URL of a premium domain name once purchased. And if you happen to have made a mistake.

Thank you, I thought long and hard and was comfortable with my name. I didn't know that it might not be available when I moved it to a .com. Fortunately, the name was available with a hyphen separating the two words and I grabbed it. Just hoping people can remember the hyphen when all is said and done.

What's the status of the name without the hyphen? Is it built upon? If that, you'd notice you may lose on traffic because folks would input without. Also, it is an established website; they may have an issue as yours is very similar to theirs.

You do not want to build a business; then, you'd have to change the domain name.

So I suggest you get creative and find an alternative straight dot com.

==
Please note, nowadays, domains are not so affected by SEO vs. writing quality-rich content with a good choice of keywords, the latter of which would rank you in the search engines.

Abie is right, hyphen domain names are typically seen as spammy so use straight full domain name you can get more creative than that. I agree with what Abie says, she's knows what she talking about.

thank you. i already moved my siterubix to the .com with the hyphen. there was a dot net and a dot org and i wasnt sure if to use them. i truly believe you are so correct on this hyphen thing i just wish i knew this in advance. how do i fix this when i have already purchased the hyphenated name with my credits?

I would always go for a dot com domain name vs dot net or dot org as people's perceptions when they start typing they would typically assume it is a dot com. And make sure it is spelled correctly, as it cannot be edited once purchased.

At checkout, third option credits and >>>> if eligible <<<<< if you opted BF deal, you are NOT eligible

One dot com domain equals 32 credits.

You cannot; domain names cost $15.99 yearly, privacy included.

If you moved it, I would wait 30 days before you move it again, or else reach out to site support.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

OMG my first crisis already. I will reach out to support. I need to back out of this so that I can use my credits because I can't use the site.

Since you already used your credits, you cannot undo it once the domain name is purchased. It is yours for a year, however. you can go to site domains and switch off renewal.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains

Hey there! I don't think the hyphen between the 2 words will be an issue since most people tend to click on website links. Don't worry; I have sites with hyphens, too! Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

Up to one may be okay, I personally prefer without. However, you still need to see how established the other side is and whether they would scoop out the traffic.

A siterubix name is available if no one else on Wealthy Affiliate is using it. A dot com name is available only if no one else in the world is using it. The two are independent and unrelated.

Site Rubrix will have a name that you can use because its a subdomain, and when you want your own domain in the same name, that is not guaranteed because other people have it, so you have to find another domain name you can use Brandsnap.ai or the niche finder to find a domain name

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home#nichefinder

Thank you Brenda. I found this out the hard way. Luckily the name had a dot com but a hyphen separated the word as opposed to typing it straight through.

A hyphen is not typically recommended for a dot com domain for SEO because you need to have a credible brand. Using hyphens makes your brand look spammy and this makes users have a negative brand perception. I do not recommend it.

great i already moved it over to this. the name i need is gone but still available as .net and .org. Are these any better and how do i use my credit to get the .net or ,com. there should be a class on this information

Yep :) They've gone to bed.

Follow Abie’s suggestion, she got you covered on that.

😆

You need to get creative. Dot com domain names are on a first-come, first serve basis.
