It's been 5 days since my last post and I still have not even made 1 attempt at signing up an affiliate. What I have done is spent a lot of time training, researching and exploring the WA platform. I can tell you flat out that all the tools, training and support needed to achieve my objective is right here, centally located at www.myWealthyAffiliate.com.

This is what I have learned so far, taking into account the fact that I've decided to forget everything I thought I knew about internet marketing before:

1: I need traffic

2: I need specific (Niche) traffic

3: I need a good website

4: I need KEYWORDS to get traffic

5: The Wealthy Affiliate Platform includes website hosting

6: The Wealthy Affilitate Platform includes Jaaxy, a powerful KEYWORD tool

These are the positive steps I have taken

So I have consolidated all of my existing sites into the WA platform. This will allow me to monitor everything from 1 dashboard. I think anyone running a business with a website should be using this platform. I was paying $40 a month to Godaddy just to host my sites!!!! I have also created a website which I will use to promote my WA business.

I have narrowed my niche down to female teachers facing retirement. I've actually created an avatar describing my ideal prospect down to having grandchildren living in a city or suburb with a high cost of living. I have done research on what kind of terminology they use, where they shop and what thier hobbies might be. I think I came to the conclusion that if they don't have any real hobbies or interest they would not be a good match.

Why is this a good niche for me? Besides my WA business I also provide business and individual accounitng services. The prospects I attract to my and get to optin to my mailing list are also prospects for my tax business.
