When Do I Start?
Whenever we come up with an idea, a thought, or a move we want to make; Something comes from our imagination.
Sometimes the very thing that stops us in tracks, is the question; When Do I Start? The issue we commonly have that delay our starting process is the fact that we tend to overthink things, making them more complicated than they actually are.
Delaying Our Start
When we continue to over-think things, we then try to over-explain things to other people. When we do this, the question, "How is it going to work?" comes up.
Well, let's see; We have this fabulous idea that we have come up with, then we decide to share it with other people. We start talking it over, thinking it through, and sharing ideas with them. The more people we share it with, and the more we think it through, we start to come up with all of the mishaps, all of the things that can go wrong.
Another thing that we continue to do to ourselves is, we try the "align all of our ducks in a row" perfected idea, before we ever get started so our idea comes straight from our heads, becomes a perfect plan, and is finalized in a perfect execution. This is a big mistake because this almost never happens, so we end up delaying our start.
Waiting To Start
When we are waiting to start, the criticism begins; when we are waiting to start to get our ducks aligned in a row, we are delaying the process.
The Best Time To Start
When is the best time to start? Well I am glad you asked. The best time to start is almost always Right Now. Starting right now erases procrastination. If we are waiting to get our ducks aligned in a row, and we are listening to the criticism, procrastination has already set in and taken its place. Often times it takes control.
So when we come up with an idea, we must start the process Now! We can do this easily, it is a simple thing. The thing that stops us is, we try to figure it all out, all of the way through before we have even made the first step.
Sometimes we get stuck because while we are trying to figure it all out in our minds, we sometimes hit snags because we have entered uncharted territories according to our own experiences. When this happens, often enough we stop here and never get started.
We need to stop doing this to ourselves and Start Now!

I was just going to post this to Twacks' post of today and bring his post here...quite right Jerry our own worst enemies is what we are sometimes, when we allow ourselves to rigor mortis before we even expire....;

Hi Jerry
Great post and so true, over thinking for me always caused doubts and really does complicate thins
Getting in and just doing you see it played out in front of you, then a major problem is so simple as you see the steps to get there.

This occurs in all kinds of situations. There has been times when I have decided to do something (not related to WA) and then managed to talk myself out of it by asking 'What if?' Then later regretted not doing it. So I now ask myself 'What if I don't', and then proceed to do it. It was a much better outcome. Think positive.
Conclusion: Do it now!
