Well I've enjoyed Wealthy Affiliate! I have not made a penny in a year, but that could be my fault. Kyle and Carson have a GREAT idea, but it does not appear to work for everyone, at least me! If anyone knows of a way to get out of serious debt that is a legal and legit way, let me know.
My yearly membership is about to expire on September 14, 2013 and I can not afford to renew. I did sell my car recently, but that amount will barely put a dent in what we owe.
Our debt seems to keep adding up. We adopted 2 children from Russia in 2001 and thought we could make a difference for two children, but bills keep adding up and most of our resources went to adopt the children. There were some IRS tax breaks for a few years, but those are now gone. I have a good paying job, but 20 plus years of credit card use has started to add up. The problem is being stuck in the rut where all the money you make has to pay the credit cards and the mortgage and other bills, then you find yourself having to use the credit cards to buy your food and it isn't steaks and potatos, usually fish sticks with mac and cheese and an occasional pot roast! My wife has tried to reenter the work force after raising the adopted children, but her first position dried up after the family she was helping watch their elderly mother, decided to move her with a sister. The next job, they gave her 2 days to learn their check out procedure on the cash registers at a Landscaping business and let her go.

I'm not sure what is in the stars, but things appear to be going "south". I've tried selling some of my items on eBay and they don't sell, except for my car on eBay motors last month.
I contemplated a second job, but I already work 40 hours for the railroad and have a 2 hour round trip to get to work and back every day. I have two rest days, but usually use those to fix everything around the house.
I know my days are pretty much numbered (approaching 60), and really found out last month when I came upon a poor guy laying on the road. I could not figure out what had happened until a early morning walker was on the scene told me he was on a motorcycle and hit a deer. When I approached the man, he was laying on the other side of the road with alot of blood running from his head, I furiously dialed 911, but I noticed as I was talking to the dispatcher his whole body twitched and then nothing. I knew he was dead. The walkers saw the accident and handled it, I continued on to work, but was sure he had died. Later that night on the news they reported he died at the scene. It is hard to get over seeing someone die and there was nothing I could do!
Hope everyone some success!
