Three months have flown by since the launch of my new site, yet it feels like an eternity. I finished organizing categories and tags for some of my blogs only yesterday. Little did I know this seemingly small task would yield significant results.

This morning, as I eagerly checked my site analytics through Google Site Kit, I was met with a delightful surprise. The number of visitors had jumped several times more than the previous day. Even more promising was the notable increase in organic search and direct visits, coupled with a decline in referral visits.

These changes pointed directly to the impact of implementing proper tags and categories. They are essential for SEO and driving traffic to my site. Reflecting on this, I realize the importance of planning and implementing these strategies earlier.

I've often made excuses, citing the newness of the site and its light traffic. But today's results prove that every effort counts, even in the early stages. I'm committed to staying proactive and prioritizing these essential tasks. After all, the success of my site depends on it.
