Hard Work Is Important But Discipline and Consistency Are Key
For those of you who are familiar with my projects (modernmanadvice.com and thehigherpathproject.com) know I have a firm belief in taking that first step and the journey that it entails. The journey of a 1000 miles starts within the first step. But more importantly while discipline might hurt temporarily, regret on the other hand WILL hurt for a very long time.
We all want to succeed in every aspect of life. We all have desires, dreams and goals that for most of us keeps us feeling alive and purposeful. But in reality who many have the mindset to take that first step? And even more so, who has the spiritual and intellectual strenght to go through the hard work, sweat, tears, pain and even joy to establish consistency and growth.
It is NOT enough to dream, it is NOT enough to take action. What success will entail is a change in your mindset of establishing and embracing sustainable and positive habits in your life. Success wil NOT knock on your door, nor it is around the corner, but rather it is across a bridge called discipline.
In reality, if you ever find yourself being successful (which we all have the potential to) you will appreciate it even more and provide more meaning to it because of the hard-work, the consistency, the discipline and the pain that goes along with it.
Create those sustainable positive habits and learn to see failure and pain as doors to growth.
And know that you are not going through this journey alone.
