My first sale!
I'll be honest - when I first started my site I was super excited, I was working on it daily and then I started to burn out. I was getting discouraged, Yes I was getting some traffic but nothing was converting, my bounce rate was really high and I was starting to wonder if it was worth it. So I took a break.
It's been almost 3 weeks since I wrote a post. I stepped away completely - didn't even check my analytics. The only thing I saw were my daily facebook stats and I was shocked - my old posts were getting action - without me doing anything!
This morning I decided to check on things and I was astonished! Much to my surprise I had finally made a sale on Amazon - 3 in fact! I'm getting 70-100 hits a day from Pinterest and this week I got my first organic comment on my site!
I'm re-energized but this break has taught me that it's ok to take a break - give it time and make sure that what I put on my site is quality content. It takes time to get credibility and the sales will come with traffic.

I moved and with all the packing and unpacking, I had to take a break. So glad that the WA training course is self-paced. Sometimes, a break is necessary and can indeed be what is best.

Wow congratulations - I'm jealous - I have been with WA since LAST Oct. 6th - 2015 - and I have not had a sale yet, but that is MY fault over the last 12 months - but YOU have inspired to keep going........ so I will KEEP WORKING and training and learning and posting content on my retirement site, and advertise, and put myself out there........ GREAT JOB!!
Thanks You Amanda! It's super tough to stay motivated when you don't see results. Have you tried Pinterest? I was shocked at how much traffic I get and it's pretty easy to use. There are some great tutorials on here to get started. Good Luck and I'm sure you will experience success!
