Well, It had to happen. I went and updated Wordpress and I didn't backup my work. So, you probably know I lost my website and three weeks worth of work. BUT, not to be discouraged, I rebuilt my site (about 90%) from memory and some items I had stored in fav's. Cost me one whole day to learn that lesson. Please, don't you do the same. Tech support could not restore, but google cache still had all my main pages. Just an important tip, Backup, Backup, I simply loaded mine to fav's and external harddrive so I have everything handy. No real damage done, but I sure did feel awkward about it. Kinda freaked at first. you just don't expect 18 pages to disappear like that, so Backup, please.

Wow that sucks! You can always go to your settings and export your content. It will save everything on your site. I export every 2 weeks.

but where does it export to? I Like to keep everything close by. Jim...

Great for letting us know that. It can happen to any of us.
I'll at least make sure I keep a copy of my pages. Thanks!

Thought maybe WA did backup somewhere. I was wrong. Wish I knew ahead of time. Jim...

I guess that sort of thing happens to all of sooner or later. No matter how careful you are with backup.
