Her name is CL Peterson

Yesterday morning I was having an online conversation with one of the awesome Wealthy Affiliate members here who frequently writes comments on my posts and answers many of my questions.

On this day, he happened to write a most inspiring post of his own, citing the wonderful pay it forward culture that Kyle and Carson have created here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Within this post he included several amazing quotes from a maverick entrepreneur we know, and I responded on his tread.

My comment was, “To be Great, you must do what you set out to do, and help others by doing it.”

Yesterday afternoon I received a PM by a total stranger that said the following:

Your quote really resonated with me - so much that I had to create an image of it. Thought I would share it with you. – Cindy. And she titled the image “To Be Great.”

Keep in mind, this was from someone at Wealthy Affiliate who doesn’t know me, who never read or commented on ANY of my posts, never answered any of my comments or questions. Someone I have never conversed with, and have ZERO affiliation with.

Who is this person? What inspires her abundant generosity? What motivates her and makes her “tick”? So I did some digging and found additional information about this person on her personal profile.

This is what I found:

• She was a one-time prosecuting attorney who has been out of the work scene for over 20 years due to health issues.
• She has an adult son who recently came home to live with her and her husband.
• Her adult son is high functioning autistic.

Here’s what else she said in her profile:

“I am looking for guidance on building an online business as my attempts have not been successful. But we are also starting a farm related ministry, revolving around teaching my son and others like him. A way for Adults with autism to become self-sufficient. A true grass-roots movement ;) And I am also looking for help in setting up the online part of a non-profit organization."

“The talon image is for my son. He is interested in setting up an online website where he reviews game software .I don't know if there is a way to make money on that niche, but it would be sweet if he could. And being the protective Mother - I am checking Wealthy Affiliate to see if it is the answer for all of our issues.”

Oh, one more thing. Do you want to know her name?

Her name is CL Peterson.

Ladies and Gents, this total stranger to me named CL Peterson represents the absolute embodiment of the quote that I made, the quote that she was so moved by that she felt so compelled to “tell the world” by generously creating an image and share it with the WA community.

Even if only to post this quote anonymously in a PM without self-fanfare.

Above all, she truly represents the CORE of what Wealthy Affiliate is all about.

Did she have to write such a commendable and extremely generous comment let alone create such an inspiring and honoring post? No.

Did she have to even READ the original post where I made the comment she made an image of in the first place? No.

Did she even seek credit for doing such a noble act? Heck, no

She is a selfless person who categorically wants to help others.

She is altruistic by nature, and seeks to help others through pure good will without expecting any return.

Here are the facts.

She has overcome adversity and is someone who understands pain, and wants to make a better life for her family, even in the face of her own hardship and long standing health issues.

She is someone who profoundly understands the message of my quote, and “lives” that mesage at its deepest level.

She is someone who wants to recognize others for their good accomplishments.

She is someone who strives to inspire others to do amazing things.

Above all, she is someone who devoutly believes and lives the pay-it-forward system that Kyle and Carson created.

Thank you for your compassion to acknowledge the same goodness you embody, and your desire to help others in the community.

Thank you for striving to improve other’s lives.
