Growing Our "Talking Taiwan" Podcast, and Introducing a New One
Here’s an update on our podcast Taking Taiwan and what’s new.
August was a phenomenal month for Talking Taiwan, as our weekly podcast that airs every Monday continues to grow at an exceptional rate.
We hit an new all-time high of 1765 downloads in August, going from a decent 770 downloads in July to this current number.
That’s a 229% increase in downloads from the month of July!
Last Monday, we published our 92nd episode – and we already have amazing new guest interviews pre-booked and scheduled through December!
Talking Taiwan is available and can be listened to on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stiticher, and over 40+ platforms anywhere in the world.
Our New Podcast: Crushing the Myth
Meanwhile, August was the month where we rolled out a 2nd podcast called “Crushing the Myth”, produced by Talking Taiwan.
Crushing the Myth is a wonderful Ted Talk-type series that focuses to dispel the myth of stereotypes in our society. It is centered on Asian everyday people in all walks of life who want a platform to speak in public in front of an audience.
All public speaking is done in English.
The best part, is that if you ever have wanted to learn the art of public speaking but considered yourself too introverted, Crushing the Myth will train you how to overcome your fears and to speak in public.
They will then prepare you for your first ever public speaking engagement – usually a 10 to 15 minute talk on stage (and now, during Covid-19 over a Zoom call), which later gets presented as a podcast.
However, even if you are a seasoned pro at public speaking, if you fit the category you are welcome to apply.
Crushing the Myth is now up to its 5th episode, and is on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Radio Public, Overcast, and 3 other platforms.
*Note: Felicia Lin is the producer and the host. Kaju is the Executive Producer, editor, sound engineer, and webmaster.
Together this team makes up Talking Taiwan, and also produces the new weekly podcast series, Crushing the Myth.
Cheers,
Kaju

You are 'rocking.'
Your presence on the internet is more and more.
The more you are putting in, the more you are receiving.
Remember though as per one of your previous posts, you do not need 3 Billion....you only need about 300.
Peace and love to you, man.
I look forward to the day that our paths will meet in person.
In the meantime, would you consider taking a space on one of my sidebars with a feature segway into what you are trying to accomplish?
I think that this is a possible alternative way to go. Adsense does not make sense to me. My website can be 'ad' friendly without the aggravating 'pop-ups.'
Your thoughts are always welcome in my reality of things.
Remain awesome.
Your friend just North of the border.
Paul.
Great to see you Paul:)
Many Thanks for your exceptionally inspiring words!!
I couldn't agree more, the more Help, Guidance, and Love we put out to the world, the more we will Receive:)
Do you have any affiliation with Taiwan?
You have a very compelling background in the culinary arts,
Let me know if you do:)
Perhaps that day will be coming sooner than expected, my friend:)
Sending back the Love, man....
Wishing you all the Best,
Kaju
Taiwan is foreign to me.
Can I cook Taiawanese? If I can spell it that way then I can.
Remain awesome.
Are you in Taiwan now and if so, how did you get there safely?
Paul.
I'm sure you can cook Taiwanese....I'm sure you can cook anything if you put your mind to it!
