Thanks for this friend.I do use emojis a lot at the end of messages but only to people I know really well.

Would never think of using them in a subject line in an email but always something to keep in mind.

Would only use Mr Poop if I really knew the person well enough to know they wouldn't be offended by it.

I do think they are cute terms of endearment at the end of a text or on messenger etc. You do have to watch what you are using and who it is going to.

Never knew you could track the ones you use. Something new learned today then. xxx

I do see that you use emojis often C, especially at te end of messages.

Try using them in the subject line next time (but pick the right and relevant ones) and let me know if you open rates go up.
I think they will:)

I most certainly will do friend. Yeah they have to be relevant to your subject or that would be a waste of time and stupid as well. 😄😄😄 xxx

Right, you (we) will look stupid:)!

We most certainly will do, we can't have that either lol. xxx

:):)

Very interesting. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks Kaju.

They do seem to matter Mick. Thanks!
Kaju

Fascinating stuff Kaju, I had never ever thought emojis could be important to our business.

Cal

They are definitely trending Cal, and the open rates seem to correlate with them nicely. I'd have FUN with them and include some proven popular ones that are relevant to your message in the email subject line on your next email marketing campaign!

Good Luck:)
Kaju

Awesome thanks!

Always a pleasure Cal:)

Kaju, The poop emoji? Is that the Hershey kiss one? LOL. Great post indeed. Very helpful. thank you

Laura

Sure looks like the Hershey Kiss Laura, lol!
He certainly gets a lot of extra attention, you might wanna use him when writing a harsh review!
Kaju

Oh yeah. I’ll do that as soon as the electricity and internet come back on.

Sorry to hear that...hope they come on soon!

Cool, I receive a few emails with emojis in the subject line off and on and they get my attention for another instant, long enough to read the subject. It's worth considering thank you for sharing

Rob, I think we are intrigued by some of the emojis to open them, and that can make the difference in some cases.
Thank You:)

If you don't yet, I will happily return the favor when yours is up.:)

I see that the target audience was an important factor as well as relevancy to the email and content. Something to consider in the future. Thanks for the post Kaju.

My pleasure W, its always good to be aware of specific trends that may help increase our open rates:)
Kaju

Interesting, and something I never considered. Something to remember.

Thanks Fran, definitely a tidbit of information that could make a difference:)
Kaju

Thanks, Kaju, worth considering
Peter H

Certainly something you can consider when you handle your futureemail marketing campaigns Peter. My pleasure:)

Interesting but I don't really think of emojis so am not real likely to do it.

That's fine Rosanna, Thanks for your input here. This strategy may or may not work for everyone.
