Black Friday INSANITY! 26 Shopify Sales (and Counting) Over the Weekend!
The last 72 + hours has been absolute Black Friday INSANITY!
26 Shopify Sales (and Counting) Over the Weekend…..and they are STILL coming IN!!
My Dear Friends you might have noticed, this weekend has been the LEAST active I’ve been here in a LONG TIME, and this is my first post since Thanksgiving.
The irony is that I’ve been so busy “making the rounds” to various friends gatherings and playing in tournaments over the weekend, all I’ve had time for was to basically setup my banner for Black Friday late Thursday night.
And then forget about it…..
With all of the non-stop Holiday distractions and activities, I wasn’t even paying ANY attention to my Shopify store until I checked it tonight, when BOOM!!
I logged onto my Shopify store……and then THIS Hit ME like a Ton of Bricks!!
My Eyes are Hurting, Its MADNESS…...
Can you imagine the look of disbelief on my face when I woke up yesterday, turned on my computer in saw 26 New Sales on my Shopify Store?!!!!
It's MADNESS!!
That’s 11 sales in the prior 24 hours....
and 26 Shopify Sales over the Black Friday weekend!
Quite frankly, tonight MY EYES ARE HURTING (and so is my HEAD) from staring at the screen! I must've been seeing DOUBLE!
I know I’ve mentioned before I’ve had this online store open now for over 1-year, but I still don’t pay as much attention to it as I should. I know, I know…..I really SHOULD even though that odd sale only does still trickle in on occasion, but other than these Special Sale Events I really still should be doing much more with MY STORE.
You know what they say, to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result is pure insanity, RIGHT?
Maybe the banner on my store caught a lot of their attention (IT'S THE FIRST ONE ON THE TOP OF THIS POST....it's modified from Jerry's...... Thanks Jerry!), made the ad pop out more, and kept peeps eyeballs all over there on it.
Other than this, all I’d done was place one simple Instagram ad on Friday, and added a small exciting NEW product for kids on my store.
The Sky Is the Limit
Seriously Ladies and Gents, I know you can do this too! I wrote this post, and I really hope this will motivate everyone to take even the smallest immediate actions.
Even the smallest actions we do can produce wonderful results when the TIMING is right!
Truly, the Sky is the Limit with the skills we learn to apply at WA.
No worries friends. I will continue to write motivational blog posts related to business, my journeys, and then even the odd personal story once in a while.
The BEST way to succeed is not to over analyze, JUST DO IT and GET YOUR CONTENT UP THERE! Whether it be on your website, on your online store, or anywhere else that will allow you to monetize….and if something doesn’t work, try something else and CHANGE IT QUICKLY.
The most important thing is to ALWAYS have skin in the game.
There is always something new to discover. You next sale (or FIRST) is only a moment away!

Hey Kaju, I have a question for you. I've been getting a lot of negative feedback regarding Shopify store or having a Shopify store; will you help me get mine together?
I had someone who never finished helping me set mine up; the person just left me high and dry.
Any help you can give me would immensely appreciated.
Why the negative feedback, Rodney? Those peeps just ain't doing it right. Sure I will do my best.
I don't have negative feedback toward anything, I just keep getting jerked around as far as building a Shopify store because I've heard negative things and somewhat positive things so as you can imagine, I'm confused.
So, I see your Shopify store being a big hit which tells me that Shopify isn't the failure some people have made it out to be.
I need to know, what do I do and how do I proceed from here; will you guide me step by step?

If what I read earlier this morning from Inc., you (and the rest of us here at WA) are right on track!
The article was about Clark Valeberg, CEO and founder of InVision (a software company) who states:
"The screen has become the most important place in the world".
Even a Shopify business that doesn't receive the attention you feel it deserves is still capable of connecting with the world!

Hey Kaju, I writing to tell you that I think I know why you haven't looked at my Shopify store yet; there is a fee page that I have to make a payment on before I can reopen the store as it were.
So, it'll be a little while before I can pay that fee. The good news is, I'm planning on substituting an Ecommerce store for the Shopify store. I still want both but right now, I want to concentrate on the Ecommerce store which I believe has a lot of potential.
