What is the purpose of Wealthy Affiliate

If you are a visitor who is not quite sure how wealthy affiliate works or one that is signed up but second guessing your decision, then I want to clear this up. You might be skeptical whenever you see multiple good reviews on wealthy affiliate (mines included) and think that the only way people are making money from WA is by only promoting WA. You might think that it is one of those spammy products where you only make money in selling the product of Wealthy Affiliate and that the review from people are all actors from fiver. That is not what it is. Besides, members of this wonderful community have review various products that include those actors anyway. So what is the purpose of wealthy affiliate?

The wealthy affiliate course is a course that is designed to teach you how to make money in affiliate marketing and in any subject topic that you want to pursue.

  • Want to make money through a fitness blog? WA can help you.
  • What about how to make money blogging about your passion for drones? Wa can help you.
  • What about fashion? Yes.
  • What about a blog on keurigs and vitamix? Wa can help you make money through them too.

(WA is not going to teach you how to be an expert in your subject, you have to learn that on your own from other sources or already have it from years of experience in the field that you want to talk about).

What is WA's value proposition?

Yes, WA has an affiliate program (Bootcamp) that they teach you how to promote. But the main value proposition in my opinion is in the Online Certification Course. This teaches you how to build and promote products related to your target audience. In fact, I have even seen WA member Owain write blogs about genealogy and make money from it.

Unique niche? Definitely, in my opinion.

While that is not a niche that I have a passion for or interest for, there are people out there that are interested in the content he has to write about and he is certainly passionate about the subject. The best part is, while WA did not teach him how to become an expert in this subject (you have to learn that outside of the platform or already have it as mentioned above), WA did give him the framework to build his successful website on and WA taught him how to present that content to his audience.

Conclusion

So if you are wondering if the only value in WA is only promoting WA, I hoped to have cleared that up with you. There are so many scams out there that their only value is in promoting it to other people (i.e. Email Processing system, where you pay $25 to join by email and you get paid $25 for every email that you process), but just don't count WA in that category.

Just remember that the main value comes from helping others build a blog on a topic they are passionate about.

That's making it perfectly clear, WA provides the vehicle, you must give it direction.

Nice post. The value and strength of WA is in its collegiality, professionalism and support. Thank you for highlighting it again.

Nicely done. The value in WA is in the training and the community. To get value out of WA we as individuals need to apply the training and utilize the community to improve our websites. That will drive traffic and eventually sales.

Thanks for sharing this man.

Thanks for the mention Jessie. I must reiterate that you should a niche that you are passionate. You will be spending a lot of time building out your site so it definitely helps if it is a subject that you enjoy.

With regards to WA I am glad that I have joined this community. Everything that I need is here. And I can get help about anything here whenever I need.

And finally the course teaches you what you need to learn to create a site. If I didn't join up here I would have still been learning and not getting anything done.

I enjoyed reading your clarification Jessie. Thank you.

Hi Jessie, I think you are absolutely right about the purpose of WA. To me the training is of immense value and a fraction of the cost of every other program which I have come across. Also just reading the notifications every day is very informative, and provides peripheral training as well. And to get advice from leading experts for free is unprecedented in my limited experience. Practically everyone is trying to upsell you every day on the internet, if you have the misfortune to end up on their mailing list. Thank goodness for the unsubscribe option:-) Best Alan

Couldn't agree more! :)

Encouraging post, thanks

Nicely written Jessie, thank you. A nice review for those that need clarification still and are still wondering how all the pieces of the jigsaw piece together.

I needed to make this because it while the bootcamps are awesome, I just don't want outside visitors thinking that is all WA is about. Its original intent was always helping others build a business in any subject they are passionate about and always will be. WA is not just about promoting the WA platform. I feel like as we start having more bootcamp websites out there, the original value that WA provides will start to get lost in the shuffle. I hope that this brings that value back into the spotlight.

You are so right Jessie, an excellent observation by you! I think I have seen a comment such as back fire, we don't want this to happen to wealthy affiliate because of the Bootcamp! I feel some may think of the bootcamp as a get rich quick scheme. Non of WA is about this.

I am writing a small post myself (First Post even) I have referred to this post in a positive way.

Good timing for your post. Thank you!

Wayne
