Long Term Picture: $0.50 payouts or $23.50 payouts

Greetings everyone,

I want to share something that everyone should think about especially if you are trying to make money and get paid by Wealthy Affiliate.

I have come to realize and be reminded that how you delegate your time in terms of money making activities is very important.

I am sad to say that recently I have lost my certified commenter status so I am no longer receiving payments from commenting on other websites. This has all been going on since there has been a rise in low quality comments and the growing frustration with site comments.

With that being said, anyone who is earning money from Wealthy Affiliate from the platform, I want to remind you that your time should be considered sacred especially with how you allocate it in regards to your online business.

In a lot of ways, I am glad I lost my certified commenter status to see this silver lining because I realize I have been using a lot of it to find comments to earn money. Instead, I should have been using that time to create more content for my website, write more email sequences, and focus on other areas of earning more passive or residual affiliate commissions. In other words, having leverage.

NEVER TRADE TIME FOR MONEY.

That is why we are all here. While certified commenter is nice for helping with membership dues, you are not leveraging your time wisely. You are still trading time for money.

Instead, you focus on earning $0.50 at the expense of earning a consistent $23.50 per month or a $175 per year. Would you take $0.50 over the other two options? I think you know the answer.

If you have affiliate websites that make money from Adsense or other affiliate programs, don’t abandon those either just to earn $0.50. Your affiliate niche websites will always pay more over the long run and you will be trading less time for money.
