So Long Farewell
It is with mixed feelings that I write this post. It has been over 6 years since I joined Wealthy Affiliate. I have learned a great deal. The training has been above average but the responses have been slow in coming when I asked specific answers.
I have made some friends here but not as close as others have done. For the most part, I have had to figure it out on my own.
I bid you all farewell. I hope your businesses grow and thrive.
My best to each of you.
Jerry

I've been thinking the same, Jerry.
After 6 years, I've made no progress.
I never got back my initial flow, that I had, when I first began.
At the Ambassador, #8, I was blocked. It took 3 months to get back in, so I paid for nothing, since I couldn't write or post.
Pretty sure which ambassador called me "recruiting" ,as I built up a very popular WA network. That person disappeared several years ago, but the damage to my confidence and trust was shattered.
Pretty devastating after 3 months of sharing with, by now, many friends.
I went from daily posts to nothing! ...At Christmas!! I felt like I was watching everyone from outside, in the cold.
WA didn't know how I got blocked and remedied the situation, once I finally was able to make contact. When blocked, you can't even talk to support!
Still praying about it, but re-up time is fast approaching.
I enjoyed knowing you Jerry, and best of luck!
Best!
Barb
Barb,
I finally found a mentor who is able to teach me what I need in order to succeed. Her method of teaching is clear and precise. Her rates are affordable and you get your money's worth from her. Her email addie is ljmalive2@gmail.com if you want to check her out.
Jerry
Thank you, Jerry!
I still want to keep my .com.
Do you know how or what I should do to redirect my site to another host?
I'll miss Friday's with Jay, but this year, things a been economically devastating.
Working on selling my house, as a result.
Best of luck, Jerry, and thank you, again.

I totally get it, Jerry. I'm paraphrasing Ron White when I say that I'm progressing at the speed of smell. I'm watching others make it look easy while I struggle to get a post up. I'm afraid I'm in a bad niche. I'm afraid I don't know what I'm doing. I'm even afraid that I'm not smart enough to make this work! But I'll give it a few more years to see if I can figger it out.
I wish you well.
Dave
Dave,
The best advice I can give you is to go through the lessons repeatedly. I am sure you have the ability to understand the information that is presented. It takes time for it to become natural to you.
Jerry
Thanks, Jerry. I was just in a conversation with another member who said he would go through the "refreshed" training that has been re-created for starters. I told him that I thought that would be a good idea for me, too. I will heed your advice.
I don't really question my ability to understand the training. I do question my communication skills. You know, writing, engaging, persuading, and so on...
Dave
Just let the information you give to your audience be accurate, honest, and sometimes humorous, but mostly from your heart. I suggest that you just be yourself, the information you give will have a greater impact.
Jerry
Will do. I currently have about 500 pageviews a month from a couple of hundred visitors, so I click with somebody! I'd like to kick that up a tad... say to 500,000 pageviews from a couple hundred thousand visitors. You know, just a tad:)
I have a few days, to check out the refreshed training, which I knew not about.
I got stuck with connecting my email, and old training just frustrated me. Without email list, what's the point?
Thank you, for mentioning this, Dave.
Barb
You're welcome, Barb. I'm at the email list part myself. I realize it is important, so I grabbed a free account at Aweber for now and placed a signup page on my site. I haven't created a category for it yet, but I will get to it in time. Building a list is like building a website following - it takes time.
Dave
Thanks for the positive wishes, Jerry. I hope you find your own rainbow with a great pot of gold at the end. Take care!
God Bless you, Jerry! I hate to see you go, my friend! Many times, we all do as we must!
Keep in touch, my friend!
Jeff
Sorry to see you go. A wise woman once said to me that your next attempt after giving up could have been your success.
I wish you all the best.

Gee Jerry, hello and farewell, I hope your future is a very bright one. Who knows, in the future you just might return to WA. Have a good evening.
