Do People Make Money Blogging? - Yes, and here's how
Do people make money blogging?
Yes, and here's how.
To make money blogging, one sells products on their blog. This can either be their own products or the products of others. And it can be direct selling, or just by reviews or mentions.
Do people make money blogging?
Yes. It doesn't happen overnight, but it happens with perseverence.
Selling your own products and services is a lot more labor intensive. It's a great idea once you have your own products or services to sell, and is often the most profitable way to make money blogging.
However, it's much simpler to get started selling other people's products and services. You can be set up doing this for free within a week or two.
Do people make money blogging?
Yes. Even without their own products or services.
If you choose to go the route of selling other people's products and services, there are two main methods for doing this:
1) Advertising networks such as google adsense (or people paying you directly for ads).
2) Affiliate marketing.
Both work. It depends on the topic of your website and how big an audience you are able to amass which will work better for you.
No matter which of these you choose to do, you need to build traffic before you add advertising to your site.
The best way to learn how to build traffic is the training right here at Wealthy Affiliate.
And if you are a member of Wealthy Affiliate, you can even make money blogging right here! If anyone joins Wealthy Affiliate after landing on content you create at Wealthy Affiliate, you are credited with a referral to them. If they then join a Premium membership down the track, you get an affiliate payout.

Thank you Jeremy for this post. It was exact what I needed to see today! Have a super weekend!
I think the chances of earning continuous money also depend on how many wrong turns (like signing up for scammy products, ideas, plugins, etc) you make before you realize no, just honest work is what it takes.
That's right. And it's free to check out the training here to ensure it isn't a scam. So why wouldn't anyone who reads this?
I have been blogging for a long time, and have been sucked into many "scams" that sounded so logical. What I love about WA is that it is all about work, the right work, about knowledge, about consistency, about learning. NO Greay Hats, and NO black hats, which come back and bite you in the butt anyways. Like Penguin going after all the link farms.
Yeah. I loved when I first started lessons and it was all about creating quality content.
I was lucky in that Wealthy Affiliate is the first program I found when searching for an affiliate marketing training program, so I have not been sucked in by any of those scams that a lot of people seem to have.
Amen to that Jeremy, I've only been online a couple months. The 1st month I traveled the net searching for what made sense to me. I bumped into WA early in my travels, and continued looking other places. Fortunately I came across someone I trusted, gave WA a serious check, then returned & explored the WA net. After browsing around thru profiles & comments I found a Home. Now I'm building my own house here at WA, with a solid foundation,& wonderful neighbors who pitch in & help when I most need the help. I'm Very Thankful for this. Jon
Sounds like things are looking up for you JonW. (My father is JohnW, by the way. Not the same one as the tuna, mind you. :)
