So What is the Most Profitable Niche?

Hi guys, I know Kyle has already explained whether there is a profitable niche or not. I have actually been written this blog but have put aside as a draft for some reason. Now that Kyle has explained that there is no profitable niche, and it depends on how you can help the readers. Well, I'd like to say something about this topic, as well, my own version.

I remember someone had asked this question 'What is the Most profitable niche?'. I replied and said, anything you are interested in can be profitable, as long as you write valuable contents.' I know some members will disagree, (and yes a few did), and tell you, the most profitable niches are the one that will give you higher commission rates. I get that. I know a more expensive product will give you higher commissions. The big question is - can everyone talk about aircrafts? I know that this will give you if not hundreds in commission, thousands, for one sale, but really does everyone know about flying an aircraft?

I googled about the most profitable niches and surprisingly, I got different answers. Someone blogs about mountain climbing, and claims she gets good commissions from promoting camping equipments. I thought, 'I couldn't even get myself to the top of "Eureka Towers, what more climb a mountain.' Someone has a website on kettle bells. I thought 'what the heck are kettle bells?'. I googled, of course, and learned that kettle bells are like dumbbells, and are surprisingly very in demand. Ok, but they look more like a World War I time bomb to me.

Then I challenged myself on something may be boring to many people - colored rubber bands. Voila, it brought me to a you tube that shows how to make a fishtail wristband using, yes, colored rubber bands!. Guess what, it had close 140,000 viewers.

What I'm trying to point out is, no matter how hard you try looking for the most profitable niches, you'd be pulling all your hair out before you realize that anything can be profitable. It's YOU who will make your niche profitable if you put your soul and heart into it, by creating valuable contents. So is there a 'most profitable niche?'. Yes, and it's YOUR NICHE. As Kyle always said, if you're passionate about it, then you can talk about it in such a way that it'll help people.

For those creative people, don't be disillusioned; keep working on your websites, because your creativity can bring many people to a deeper or new perspective in life.

Have a wonderful, relaxing and positive week-end, my WA friends.

Cheers,

Jen

The one you have the most passion for.

Thanks Bill, you're right, it's passion for a reason.

There are no profitable niches, all there is, is effective and infective marketing, that's all really

Barry

Thanks, batboy, you can put it in a different perspective, really. there may be one, there may be none, depends on how you look at it. I'd stick with what I think I see and have experienced.

Thank you, Jen. Well written and great explanation of the niche search.

Thanks, nice to see you again.

Jen I love what you have done with this blog. I have several venues that I am looking at but more or less doing the research on the competition level as well as how big of a player they are. I realize compassion and knowledge has plenty to do with this but have struggled with that concept as well. Are you saying not to research your niche just go for it if it is what you are compassionate about and know the niche well or do research on your niche. I still have confusion there and I feel that I am not the only one. Would you give me your opinion on this as I feel like your blog is the closest I have come to clearing up some of this headache and would really appreciate your thoughts. If not here just PM me. Thanks for your time.

I'll PM you, drago, thanks for sharing your thoughts and issues.

With just a little searching we can find most anything we can become excited learning and sharing about. Voila! A profitable niche. Great story and a very insightful share, Jen. It would be fun to see a rubberband wristband site. Did you start one? ^_~

Oh, how I wish I could make one, I think I'll need to ask my youngest one, she knows a lot about this niche.

Am sure you will put some of your profits into your youngest one's education fund. She helps you on your book selections and now your rubber bands. A mother-daughter company, such a treasure to share about. ^_~

No, caylynn, I think I've been misunderstood here, the rubber bands were just a thought that popped in my mind - just to tell everyone that anything can be profitable if you have a good knowledge of your niche. Yes, my books website is doing well, I've got many visitors already. Thanks again, seeya.

Jen, No worries. Like colored rubberbands, so when you said you'd need to ask your youngest one, thought you had found another profitable niche! lol. ^_~

Hellooooo Jen,

Since I work in business developpment as a carreer, I can tell you that my success in life has been the yacht business. I sold a lot of sailboats and I was very successfull until the economy crumbled. When I spoke to potential clients, it was not the yacht that I was selling but the kind of peacefull life style that came with the ownership of the yacht. Sailboats are a passion of mine and I also raced. The fact that it's a passion, well it transpired and all my clients told me so. I could easily have their trust and to this day, people still here about me in the sailing industry.

I'm a strong believer in, represent what you are passionate about and know well as that is what will help you make it. It's so much easier to do and you know what, you will keep your clients and developpe a trust relationship. It takes years to build a client base, based on trust, so don't struggle promoting something you know nothing about.

Well done on your post Jenn.

Hi annick, thanks for your comments. Yes, it's really how cleverly you can present your website. I know so much about books, and spelling is my strength which I have passed on easily to my kids - they're great spellers now. I also try to divert the readers to different child's activities, and adding a lot more posts. This is how I work on my site. Anything really that comes naturally will be profitable in the long run.

Very Good information, thanks for sharing. Vel

Thanks, Vel, nice of you to stop by. Your site made inspire me to join bootcamp, so thanks.

There are some very good high ticket affiliate programs out there. I prefer those because I would prefer to sell a software package at $15k with 90% commission than 10 000 pens or 1000 foot warmers or whatever. As it was explained to me do you sell 1 x McDonalds* for your $1 000 000.00 or 250 000 Big Macs*.

* McDonalds and Big Macs were used purely as an illustration. Shane Liebich does not condone nor support the use or consumption of such foodstuffs ... except in China when the Maccas is sometimes like heaven in a bun and escape from rice, which incidentally can still be purchased at McDonalds as a side and followed by a tasty 'Taro Pie' (replaces hot apple)....sorry to digress

HI Higway Man, thanks for stopping by. Good on you, if that's where you're happy with. Unfortunately, I 've got something like ADD (Attention deficit Disorder) when it comes to something like I'm not good at. I'm a creative writer, so what comes naturally within me is something that'll bring people to read my blogs.

Totally agree with you Jen, if you have the passion for something anything could be profitable. I think some people lose their way when it comes to this subject. They see someone else making good money with their niche and think why can't I do that, little do they realize that the person is an expert in their niche.I think this why it pays to have some knowledge of your particular niche before you jump in.

HI Craig, this is exactly what some people don't get. They'd jump in on a'bandwagon', thinking if others can make money on, say, an electronic device, then they can probably sell one.

Thank you for this post, between this one and Kyle's, I have gained a great deal of clarity on a subject that has been on my mind since I joined WA. Have a great day!
Jack. :)

Thanks wildcatblue2, hope you're doing well.
