Win-Win, My Time at WA
When I signed up for WA the end of April 2016 I was both skeptical and excited at the same time, on one-hand I was thinking, this has to be to good to be true, if it really worked why doesn't everyone get into this online affiliate business and make a fortune.
The other-hand was excited and telling me, come on Jeff! Give it a shot! Since I am not afraid to try anything, I decided to jump in with both feet, after all, you will never discover new horizons if your afraid to lose sight of the shore right?
Not going to lie, it hasn't been all fun and games and I almost said screw it and move on to another adventure but, I have kept at it. I have had to contend with 3 major obstacles;
- Time-with working 50 plus hours a week at my full-time job, raising Quarter Horses and Angus cows on the side leaves me little time to devote to my website but I do manage 3 to 4 hours most nights.....good thing I am single!
- Lack of adaquate equipment- living out in the boonies like I do,highspeed internet is not readily available, at least not at an affordable price, I use to use my cell phone as a hot spot and tether my laptop of it but, I combined my cell phone and satellite to one package and got unlimited data, saves me about $15 a month but, they neglected to tell me I couldn't u nexusse my devices as hotspots so all my work is done on my Samsung Galaxy.
- Indecisiveness-Like I said, I jumped in with both feet and was very excited to build my website, after all, I had it all figured out, the "Master Plan" I had my niche and was rearing to go, until I started, I must have changed my theme and my niche 2 dozen Times!
Even with my obstacles, in the short time I have been here I have experienced success, I finally decided on a niche, it is still in the travel industry just a different specialty, I have added a website for an online bikini store-yes, I have asked the same question...what does a cowboy from ND know about bikinis other than they look good on women? Well,not sure what but, I must know something cuz its been working! I haven't made a ton but, I have actually made $50.00. Still along way off from drinking cold beer on a beach some where but, I do see it happening in the not so distant future! I am even about to launch my very own professional search/booking travel site....if nothing else, I'll have really good rates on my own trips!
The most important success I think I have gotten from WA is knowledge, I have learned things I never dreamed I would know and even more important, I have had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic people from all over! And as crazy as it sounds I even meet someone who lives in the same town I work!
No matter how much I end up making or not making here, to me, I will consider my success solely because of the knowledge I have gained and the people I have meet, in my book that is a win-win!

Despite all the difficulties you have with being online, you are forging ahead. Well done on your perseverance :)
My grandpa thought me there is always a silver lining in the clouds so that's how I live me life, I look for the posotive in every situation, sometimes it's hard to find but, if you look hard enough it's there.
