Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

After my visit with Monica yesterday, and a few more phone conversations, along with some computer time, I decided that it was time to go to bed!

Awakening at 6 am, after a few tasks, I got right back down to business in the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community to get the day started off in the right direction.

Kitty popped in for a quick moment too!

She did not stay for long though.

There are always other wanderings in the house that she performs, What can I say except that she is a cat!

I chatted on the phone for a bit, and then it was time to go to put in my request for my Army medical records for the VA rep. in the city municipal building, These are necessary and will determine if there are any benefits that I might be due by my time in service.

When I was done with all that, I caught a quick unlock of a car on the way home. I was glad for that.

Since Monica had called me earlier today she wanted me to ride to Salina, Kansas with me for a neurologist appoint for her wrists. I was very pleased to go with her.

We were soon on our way! It is 40 miles each way on I-70.

Then about 25 minutes until her appointment, we reached the hospital / clinic complex.

The appointment lasted over an hour.

She looked a little tired when we were heading out. (I had not been able t go in while the doctor was seeing her, so I had to wait in the lounge.

I let her pick a place to eat.

We headed in. While we were waiting for our order, she was showing me the bruises on her arm, and told me that the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome had come back into the hand.

Both of us were a bit disappointed with that, since the hand had been operated on 2 times in as many years.

I just told her we could pray and wait and see what happens one day at a time.

Monica and I ate what we could, and then I took the leftovers home.

We talked a little on the way back home. Monica has to go to work from 6 to 10, but she will be getting time and a half (this was one of her days off!)

She works on her last day off too at the same time, then the next 4 days will be her regular schedule.

I hope she does good with that!

The rest of my evening after a quick errand will be spent on the computer answering posts and watching some more news! This was an interesting and surprising day all around!

The rain tonight and tomorrow will put a damper on things a bit, but that is alright!

I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL HUMP DAY! I WAS SURPRISED ABOUT HOW WELL MINE TURNED OUT EVEN THOUGH IT IS SUPPOSED TO RAIN THIS EVENING!

Sincerely,

Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

So sorry about Monica’s carpal tunnel issues!

You should be well covered with your VA benefits Jeffoi when you served.

I believe Spring weather is having a mixed feeling on whether to stay or continue to tease us! It has been a very windy beginning!

Cheers,
Maria 🌹

Thank you very much, Marioi! We'll see how that works out!

Yes, I am covered!

Spring is taking its time, it seems!

Jeffoi

Great to hear Jeffoi!

Thanks, Marioi! We'll see how it goes!

I hope this is an answer to your prayers. I had carpal so bad I thought my fingers would explode at night.

The best thing for it is Bromelain found in health food stores. It is a pineapple extract and the most powerful anti-inflammatory.
You can actually get the same results from pineapple, even if they are in a can.

I took bromelain twice a day and after 2 weeks the results were very noticeable. I took it for a long time and have never had carpal tunnel again since.

Doctors do not practice nutrition and they will tell you they never heard of this. But I have helped many people with this information and I know it works.

It's worth a try. Please let me know how you do.

Regards, Corinne :-)))

Thank you, Corinne!

If I ever develop that, I will keep it in mind. I'll pass that along to Monica, but since she has insurance, she will keep going back under the knife so to speak.

I'll let you know when I inform her though!

Much appreciated! Have a Great day!

Jeff

We will be praying for Monica and hope she will get better. I have been told it can get quit painful so we hope that will not be her case!

It has been raining most of the night here and really hard this morning. Melissa came back from dropping Landon off at school because he missed the bus that comes around 6 am. She said it started raining so hard she couldn't see and people were pulling over.

Hope you have a good day and hope this rain lifts soon.

Kevin and Son

Your kind words are appreciated, Kevin! We will see how it all goes.

That weather your wife experienced was what we had last night. There might be more coming today!

I hope that everything continued to develop well for you today!

Happy Thursday!

Jeff 🙏

Thank you sir!

Kevin and Son

You're very welcome, Kevin!

Hopefully your day gets better weatherwise!

Jeff

Sorry about Monica. I hope all your VÀ stuff comes through ok.
I’m on a huge health kick this month. Already lost 1.3 kilos this week. Walking 5 k a day, swimming 400-500 meters every 2nd day and yoga and Tai Chi. lol, and still having a few brewskies to keep me sane.

I decided to get in shape again, am starting to muscle up again. Noticed my testosterone levels are up.
Missus very tired today, lol.
Stevoi

Thanks for the kind words, and good on your getting back into shape, Stevoi.

The sanity does require a few of those every now and then.

Keep up the Great progress!

Jeffoi

Thanks buddy

You're very welcome, Stevoi!

Glad to hear about your successful day trip, but sorry to hear about Monica's carpal tunnel problem. That's definitely not fun. Hope it can be fixed.

Our weather has been pretty good, though it spit a little snow this morning. Mocha went out, but didn't stay out very long.

Busy day for me...my post is due on Wednesday and I hadn't even written it yet. At least, had a subject selected and a little research done. All went smoothly, and got it published by about 11:00 a.m. Then, had multiple chores around here, the worst one being to move a bunch of books from here into my front bedroom, to replace them in their original bookshelf. I have a little luggage-carrier on wheels, so just loaded up a box at a time and took them back where they belonged.

Trying to figure out Medium.com with some success. Still have many questions.

As a reward for all my day's accomplishments, had moose tacos for supper. Had some ground moose left over from last night's spaghetti, so made it into taco meat. I like those Old El Paso Stand & Stuff taco shells, and used the "hint of lime" flavored ones...goes well with the moose meat. They were excellent! Made 6; ate 4; have two left for lunch tomorrow. I may be old, but nothing wrong with my appetite!

You must not have a working oven, as you don't make tacos. They are so easy and quick to fix, and so tasty. Would a toaster oven work?

Now closing down for the day...tomorrow comes 'way too soon. Take care,

Fran

Fran, I can’t get medium in Vietnam, I too would like to know more about it.
Steve

It was quite a surprise, Fran.

As for the Carpal Tunnel. This will be her third operation on that hand for the same thing. We will see how it progresses.

You got a lot of work done.

I would love one of those moose tacos. They sound delicious.

Sleep well, the days are flying.

Well, I'm on there and would still like to know more about it. I am having trouble figuring it out. Finally got my first image on a post and then couldn't figure out how to go back and add more than one. Trial and error will get me there eventually, I suppose.

It sounds great, good luck.
Steve
