Hello everyone in here in Wealthy Affiliate!

I must say that the weather today is spectacular! Surprisingly, this is after almost an entire night of rain! I certainly cannot complain!

Monica was in a bit better of a mood this morning, and she got off to work without incident!

Next on my agenda was the normal Wealthy Affiliate Community computer run through! I had already done a little of this earlier!

Also, Look! Tig-Tig was present too! Knock me over with a feather! When I finished that work, it was time to allow the Blog Dogs to go outside and take care of business!

They enjoyed themselves like they usually do! When I let them back inside, it was time for me to head off to the eBay house and get ready for my work day!

The drive over was gorgeous! Once there, I performed a few tasks, but I didn't get far before I went to unlock a house for a Realtor!

It was on the west side of town, and the old van made it over there and back without too many issues! When I finished with that, on the way back, I went and re keyed a couple of locks on an old storefront for a remodeling project. It used to be a bar, but now a new tenant is moving in!

That was like killing two birds with one stone.

From there it was back to the eBay house, and when I got there this time around, I decided to get a little more Wealthy Affiliate research in before the day got too busy!

That took a little pressure off of me, because one of my goals is to get something done in that department!

Here is a shot of the sun on the neighbor's tree at the eBay house as I performed a little more outdoor work

Now I can focus on another couple of tasks, one being a rekey of a couple of locks at a house my associate is working on. The owner will pay, but if my associate waits too long to call me today, darkness will come in, since the days are already getting shorter as we brace ourselves for Fall and then Winter!

Until then, I will still be productive having already pocketed $150 on two jobs! It has been an excellent start to the new week! There are always tasks that I can do here!

My plan then is to head home when Monica calls and spend some quality time with her! (I hope).

I HOPE EVERYONE HAS HAD AN EXCELLENT AND PRODUCTIVE START TO THEIR NEW WEEK! I KNOW THAT I SURE DID!

Just getting to this, Jeff!
Day late, but My Monday was rather Muddled with Meetings! ;)
It occurred to me, I'd missed any WA, at all!
Making up for it, tonight!
Yesterday, I woke at about 4:30am to this huge clap of thunder, and came down immediately to get my GinGin and take her up to comfort.
By the time we (GinGin goes where Mom goes) left for our first meeting at 9, it was again gorgeous.
Everything is as it should be!
Catch you again, for Tuesday's Trials and Tribulations!
Best!
Barb

I know how some days can be, Barb! Before you know it, they can easily get away from us! At least you had GinGin to keep you grounded!

Jeff😎

Without my girl, I'd be left to my own devices!! She always needs me, as I need her:)
She's never in a snit, either!
B

Haha, Brab, I know what you mean! You need each other, and there is nothing wrong with that at all!

Jeff

I thought of you when a friend of ours, who was moving to Texas over the weekend, locked her keys in the car and had to call a locksmith because her husband couldn't remember where he put the spare key. lol

I'm sure you've had calls like that too!

Anyway, it sounds like your week is off to a good start!

Lynn

Thanks, Lynn! Yes, I have had many calls like that in the past! We are human after all! 😎

Nice to hear from you, and I hope all is well!

My week is progressing alright!

Jeff

Where in Texas, Lynn and from where?
I came down start of the first wave, back in 1976, and now we are having yet another Texas bound group!
It's not for the Texans this season! LOL
Barb

If things keep going like they are, Barb, everyone will be moving to Texas, and I would likely move back!

I love Davy Crockett of Alamo fame and his famous quote, "You all may go to hell, I am going to Texas!"

I even have a hat that says that!

Jeff🤠

Ha-haa!
First I've heard that gem!!
"When I die, I want to go to Texas!..."
B

Oh, it is a gem, indeed! I think that is my favorite quote! I believe it was when he ceased being a Senator in the US Congress from Tennessee!

Jeff🤠

I am getting back on track after a month-long bout with Vertigo (BPPV). It freaked me out when it first came on in the dentist chair. But yesterday, the PT declared me well...yay! Though my head is still wonky lol

Lynn

Hi Barb,

Lewisville (near Dallas) from Peoria, IL. Last year we had friends move to Lindale (about an hour from Dallas) and my sister moved to Shenandoah (in The Woodlands) a little over seven years ago (maybe eight).

We enjoy visiting but if we move, it will be to Arizona to be near our only grandchild.

However, I did live in Texas for four years (2-5 yrs old) while my dad was at Dallas Theological Seminary (1963-1967).

What took you to Texas back in 1976?

And are you referring to the illegals as "another Texas-bound group"? Do you live near the border?

Lynn

Isn't DTS in Denton? Or Dallas? I was born in Dallas in June of 1967, Lynn!

Oh wow, Lynn! I hope you keep getting better and better!

Jeff🙏

Oh wow, Jeff! My dad had probably just graduated when you were born. We were getting ready to move to Peoria, but you and I probably both lived there at the same time for a few weeks anyway. When did you move?

DTS is definitely Dallas. A couple of years ago, I went to visit. But maybe there is a Denton Theological Seminary? You never know.

Lynn

Me too! I am ready for "normal," though I will miss my hubby taking care of me.

Ha! I didn't know that, Jeff!
I was just recalling that country song.
He was probably the inspiration, since so many country songs are ballads and based on someone's experience.
Hmm!

No Lynne, no reference to illegals, but Californians! Many are fed up with taxes and all that stuff. I live in Stafford was SW of Houston, but Fort Bend Co, not Harris.
With no state income tax they are coming!
I came down from Michigan in 1976, a year after graduation.
Teachers had been laid-off and unions prevailed. There was no opportunity except subbing and waitressing.
Texas is a right to work state, and one of our teacher friends had come to Alief, and invited 4 of us down!
Having arrived with future husband and another friend in the medical field, between Christmas and New Year of 1976, I had a full-time teaching job by Jan 16th.
Pay wasn't great, but it beat waiting for a phone call every morning for a sub job.
It's been my home since!
I enjoy traveling and have made several western road-trips. Arizona is always one of my stops.
If you come to Texas or Houston, we'll have to meet for coffee, Lynne!
Barb

I was in high school, guys!! LOL

Yes, he did, Lynn!

I remember growing up a place called "Christ for the Nations" institute! I wonder if it is still there? 🤔

I moved from Texas for the Army when I was 18, and since then have visited a few times, but I have lived in Kansas right next to Ft. Riley, Kansas where I was honorably discharged from the Army! It is right in the center of the country!

Jeff

I can certainly understand that, Lynn! There are definitely pros and cons to it!

Jeff

Yes, Barb, and his quote likely was the inspiration!

Doesn't Tanya Tucker sing that? She is at least one of the singers that does anyway!

I do agree that many country songs get their inspirations!

Jeff🤠

😂😹😹 I know, Barb! I was in the crib and then preschool!

Yes, with all the nonsense going on, State income tax will be coming, although my mother insists they will not, but I am a realist, especially with the border invasion!

Jeff🤠

I’m sure we’ll be there at some point, Barb. It would be fun to meet.

Lynn

The last border invasion focused on Arizona and California, while I was on a road trip west, back in 2016.
Listening to talk radio of my leaning? ...they had much to say, and I was very happy to have plenty of CD's for news overload. ;(
I hope we stand our ground. Perhaps we should build a wall... LOL
B

Want some candy little boy! Ha!

Last trip to Michigan, Lynne, I connected with a pal from Jay's trainings, Friday Happy Hour!
It was just grand!
B

That would be really cool for you and Barb, Lynn!

If I'm ever back in Kansas, Jeffrey, you know who I'll call! ;)
B

The materials are already there! All Texans should pitch in and get it done, Barb!

Jeff🤠

You betcha! 🍬🍬🍬

That's pretty awesome, Barb! 😎👍👍

Anytime, Barb! 🤠

Wonderful to have the materials, now if someone could cut the red-tape and work on a plan?? That would be the ticket!
Sadly, folks would rather complain than actually do anything. :(
Perhaps, Texas will do this! Hold that thought, Jeff! ;)
Barb

Several years ago, I went from Texas to California, and then on to Michigan!
Since I hadn't been to Colorado, I planned my trip through there, starting out in Grand Junction, and on for meeting a HS friend in Castle Rock, by Denver.
Wonderful trip!
I'm open to new routes and and new adventures, Jeff!
B

That sounds incredibly exciting, Barb! Sadly, I am not much of a traveler!

Jeff😥

I will definitely be holding to that thought, Barb!

Jeff🤠

Sounds like you had a busy and profitable day! Tig Tig looks ready for action! My furry assistant was in a playful mood earlier and pouncing on the laptop. Maybe he wants to write a blog post lol! The blog dogs look interested in something, and lovely photos of the sky

Kathy, you ought to allow him to write one on occasion! 😹 Tig-Tig has once or twice written one of mine, but I had to go back in and edit it a little! Even Shadow the Blog Dog wrote a few early on when I started my blog roll!

I hope that everything has been going well for you!

Enjoy your evening!

Jeff

Thank you Jeff. I love dogs too, they are our best friends.

Sincerly,

Ado

You're welcome, Ado! Dogs are definitely our best friends!

Enjoy your week!

Jeff🐶🐶

(Hey! What about me? 🙀) Yes, Tig-Tig, you are a best friend too!😹

Thank you Jeffrey, I appreciate your words.

Have a great week too.

Ado

You're very welcome, Ado! Much appreciated!

Jeff

You never seem to stop Jeff. Its good to be busy. The photos look great, still some colour in the trees.
Bux

I certainly try not to, Bux! There is some color yet, though the leaves are starting to fall from the trees!

I hope you are doing well!

Jeff

Charging about, as usual. Always doing something.
Just polished the car.
Bux

That's the way to do it, Bux!

Jeff
