I Saw a Cardinal This Morning!
Hello this morning to everyone in Wealthy Affiliate!
I was out early doing a little yard clean up from the horrendously windy day yesterday!
I happened to look up and see a cardinal perched on a branch looking inquisitively at my work!
It was, of course, the bird rather than the clergyman!
I knew there was something said about when one sees this beautiful bird, so I googled it and this is what I found:
A cardinal is seen as a representative of a loved one who has passed away. When you see one, it is said to mean that they are visiting you, usually showing up when you need them the most or are possibly missing them more than usual. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they are watching over you and will always be with you.
Well, this made perfect sense to me now!
My beloved grandmother, who passed away a few years ago was the one who raised me during my formative years.
Perhaps subconsciously I had been thinking of her as I was experiencing some minor trepidation concerning the trying times we are all now embroiled in!
Covid-19 has thrust itself into the forefront of our lives this year,
The virus has certainly changed A LOT of ways that we have, up until now, lived our lives, affecting how we work, play, and live!
I experienced a strange sense of comfort when I witnessed that bird in the tree, and took it also to mean that maybe finally Spring had arrived in earnest, though I dare not hold my breath!
My grandmother's spirit visiting me in the guise of this beautiful bird has given me even more resolve to know that this all shall pass eventually, and while life will certainly not be as it was, it will be a heck of a lot better than it is right now!
Having Wealthy Affiliate to fall back on when the day is long has been quite a benefit to me!
I only wish that I hadn't spent so much time in my first year and a half here goofing off. I could have been a lot further along, but things happen for a reason, and I wouldn't trade how things have gone since for anything!
The vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community has been very supportive of me here. Many members of it have answered questions I have had, lent encouragement to me when I have needed it, and have been around when I needed to talk, and for that I am eternally grateful!
This gratitude has given me the strength and tenacity of the mighty bison (don't ask me why I thought of this particular animal--I just did at the moment) to excel in my endeavors here learning to build a successful internet Affiliate Marketing business!
THE BLOG DOGS AND I ARE WONDERING WHAT IS MOTIVATING YOU ALL TO CONTINUE YOUR PURSUITS OF SUCCESS HERE IN WEALTHY AFFILIATE!

Ahhhh Jeff,
Your AWESOMNESS never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for these words of inspiration. I Love all animals but you are right in that Birds have always been the symbolic messengers of God right down to the Dove that landed on the shoulder of Jesus that symbolized the Holy Spirit. Maybe if you see it again, you may have time to whip out your phone and take a picture of it to Post for us.
PEACE,
Deatrice
LOL, we all live and learn my friend.
I have been blessed with cardinals visiting my back yard for some time since I put two bird feeders out.
Watching the birds helps me to relax as well as to think deeper thoughts as I write. They don't worry about anything just fly about and take advantage of food wherever they find it.
Maybe that is the way we should be more often.
Have a blessed week ahead.

Looks like a lot of Bull to me!!!!! lol
Don't you love when you see a cardinal??? I used to have a male and female visit all the time when I was in FL. I guess they don't like VA. Perhaps your grandmother was giving you inspiration.
Yes, right now I'm so very glad I have WA and I too wish I hadn't strayed but nothing we can do about it now except learn the lesson.

You're so right, Debbi! Ever forward from now on, my friend!
Stay safe and successful!

There are several cardinals that frequent my backyard and a couple of times they've flown into one of our large windows. In the summer I often see them with their not-so colorful mates perched on top of our deck railing. (I never thought it was fair that only male cardinals were red and females a brownish tan).
I just returned from the grocery store - the first time I've been in this (or any store) in 3 weeks. Things are so different now. I've never been much of a shopper but I never minded shopping at this small, family owned store in the past. Today, I couldn't wait to get out...people are different. The world is different.
But there is a silver lining. Thanks to you, I I've learned about the symbolism behind the cardinal!
A visit from a cardinal would be really good about now.
Things are different, that's true. I don't like going to the store anymore, everything has changed, people have changed ... I live near a party/tourist town; it's a ghost town now, so eerie.
I know that my cardinal visit felt wonderful, Susan. I too, have wondered why the female Cardinal is drab by comparison to the male, but also consider the female peacock compared to the male--interesting!
I'm sad to say that I've felt the way you have when out and about on the town--it's different, and I'm not sure it will ever be the same. Nevertheless, we will get through it though!
Be safe!
Jeff
You're right. We WILL get through this!
Indeed we will, Susan!
