Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!

I never got my morning call from Monica, but more on that later. I got up and got right down to business in the Wealthy Affiliate Community.

Kitty did show up this morning to assist with this endeavor.

With the Blog Dogs getting settled in back at home, all I had to worry about was Kitty, and she is pretty self-sufficient, for the most part.

Because of this, the morning foray went rather quickly.

Today, also being St. Patrick's Day too, helped with this, as well.

I have continued writing in my Kindle Vella Episode #15, and it is well over half-way completed.

This will still make up the bulk of my Wealthy Affiliate research portion of the day, If I get lucky and get it finished today, then I will then write a blog post on my book promotion site too. If not, then that will likely occur tomorrow.

It was finally time for me to venture out into the 30 degree day to take some images of the new day.

I hope that it will get warmer, but I believe that we might have reached our peak temperature. We shall see.

Despite the low temps, the sun made it feel warmer.

I like how this new day seems to be turning out.

The morning sun made all of this possible.

I was finally in the truck to go and run some errands and drop off a bill to a Realtor.

I wasn't in there for a minute before I got a call to go unlock a truck. Wow. That was nice, and quite a surprise too.

The temps had risen to 38 degrees, but with the sun out, it made everything seem a lot warmer.

The drive to the job was quite pleasant. I was able ot the get the truck open quickly, and I took $50 for my trouble. Since the job had been easy, I had discounted him down from the $55 I had quoted! The customer was pleased, and I was pleased too.

Since I was close to the locksmith shop house, I stopped over there first to pick up the mail.

The sky seemed pretty clear over there for the brief time that I stayed.

When I was finished there, I then headed over on my original mission of dropping off the bill to the Realtor's office.

There were some clouds in the sky there, but that did not surprise me too much.

I chatted with a couple of the Realtors there before I left, and then decided that I would head to the bank to deposit the check from the unlock customer.

That was on the way to a couple of errands that I needed to run anyway, so it made sense.

Once I got back to the eBay house from that, I had just puled into the driveway, and Monica called me from work. That was a welcome surprise. I had heard from her at around 10 in the morning too, since she informed me she had gotten called in earlier to work because someone did not show up.

In our current conversation, she said she'd be getting off a little earlier today, which was a good thing too. Then she had to go.

It wasn't long before my buddy Kevin called on his way to work for our daily chat.

While I was sitting out in the truck talking to him, I captured two images of the late afternoon.

We might hit 40 degrees if we are not careful! When I was finished talking to him, I went inside and got a few chores done.

With those complete, I went back on the computer to finish this post up.

I was working on that when Monica face-timed me from work and I chatted with her a bit more. That was one of the highlights of the day.

The rest of my evening will be spent on the phone, computer (in the Wealthy Affiliate Community), and on finishing up my Kindle Vella Episode #15.

I will then edit and publish it tomorrow! Life was very good to me today!

I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A FANTASTIC START TO ANOTER FRISATSU, FOR A LOT OF US, THIS BEGAN WITH ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Sincerely,

Jeff, The BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

Tell me, is it my imagination, or is Monica warming to you a bit more? Hope so. It would be a really good thing...

And, as usual, you are busy. Glad you got a little morning job. Hope some juicy ones come your way.

Perhaps a second message to you will get the Powers to start sending me your posts again.

I think so, Fran, but I am not counting on it! I just want to be her friend for now, then we will see how it goes,

Jeff

That's a good place to start...reminds her of who you are.

Still no new posts from you. Guess I'll message Carson next.

Well, at least you tried. I will think on it some more and see if I can come up with something! I might have to jump into your blog post.

Jeff

Good morning Jeff,

I hope that you are doing well.

Well done for continually writing your daily blog post, it takes time and effort to keep doing that. The blog dogs got my attention when I was replying to another one of your blogs! I like the green hats!

I'm very pleased that some locksmiths work came in; that's good news.

I was thinking about all the photography that you do, Jeff. Perhaps you ought to upload all your pictures to a website of all the various places you visit. Of course, once again, this takes time, but it may be something to think about. I thought about creating a website about the local villages, which are very picturesque. It hasn't happened yet, but it's something that I would like to do one day as I lovely East Anglia rural villages.

Here is a picture of the village next to where we live, there are many beautiful villages like this.

Have a great day.

Roy

Hey, Roy!

I am doing as fine as can be at the moment, and I woke up to another day, so that is even better!

I write my daily blog post because it is now an ingrained habit! If I don't do it, I feel like something is missing.

I like the idea of villages for a youTube channel or something. I've got to think on that!

I hope your Saturday is going well, my friend!

Jeff

Good morning, Jeff,

That's a good way to be, and it's good to be grateful for another day!

When did you last miss writing a blog post, Jeff? I would like to read more of your posts, but sometimes time just doesn't permit! I think is a great habit to get into good and productive routines.

There are so many potential ideas where we can potentially make money online. Of course, time is a great thing.

It was a funny Saturday as sadly, my mother passed away. Something that we had been expecting for the past few days. She was 92 1/2 years old, in other words, born in October, 1930. She had dementia for several years and it took a turn for the worse a couple of weeks ago.

The good thing is that she had a very strong faith, so I have absolutely no doubt about where she is. As the late Billy Graham said, when I die, I will just have a change of address! She had a good life and now she's onto the next life!

Have a great Sunday.

Roy

Thanks, Roy! Even though times are tough right now, I am very happy for each new day since we are not guaranteed the next! We must try to live each new day to the fullest!

I haven't missed one in about 1,300 days, Roy!

There are all kinds of ways to make money online, and I make a little every day, though not near enough to support what I need, but these methods can grow over time.

I am so sorry that you lost your mother, but I firmly believe that she sits at the right hand of God in heaven, my friend! ๐Ÿ™

She is now embarked into the BEST life of all!

Enjoy a wonderful Sunday of remembrance of her and thanks to God for where she is now, but she will also always reside in your heart!

Have a Sunday of Grateful remembrance!

Jeff

I like your very wise words in your first sentence, Jeff! Very wise indeed!

Really Jeff!? That is really impressive, I had no idea! I know that you write regularly, however, I guess there were some days that you didn't write at all! Well done to you; that really is quite an achievement!

I agree, Jeff; there are many ways that we can make money online. I think I'm in a very similar position to you, I'm making money online, but I know that by spending more time on my online business, I could multiply the earnings. I'm not just saying that, I'm being realistic and I believe you can do the same.

Yes, Jeff! My mother is now having the best life of all! Thank you for your kind words, I do appreciate it.

Wishing you a fantastic start to the week, Jeff.

Roy

Thanks, Roy, that's why I don't plan too far ahead because we never know what will happen next.

It has just become a habit of mine, Roy, and it starts each new day off really well.

I agree, and am still trying to get eBay ramped up again better too.

She is indeed. Remember the movie and song "I can only imagine"? Check it out, it will give you great comfort.

I hope to have a fantastic start, though I did wake up later than usual!

You have a Great start too, my friend!

Jeff

Good morning Jeff,

It looks like you have started a great habit that seems to work well!

I'm sure that you know a lot more than most about eBay, I really hope that you can leverage the platform to your advantage.

I will look up the movie, "I can only imagine". There is a worship song called "I can only imagine", I don't know if they are connected. I will have a look, thank you.

I hope your day went well, despite your late start.

Have a great day.

Roy

Good day, Roy!

Thank you, the habit makes each new day start off on a good note. After that, everything else is pure gravy.

Slowly but surely, I will get eBay up to where it is a great income producer again.

Here is a link ot the song, but you can also check out the movie too.

https://youtu.be/N_lrrq_opng

Happy Tuesday!

Jeff

Good morning, Jeff.

That is so true, Jeff, it's good to have good habits and routines.

That's brilliant, Jeff, I really hope that you get your eBay store up and running to a great income producer quicker than you could ever imagine.

Thank you for the link, believe it or not, the video is not available in this country! However, I often listen to the band, Mercy Me, so we are on the same wavelength. I thought that is who you meant.

Have a great day.

Roy

You are right, Roy!

I figured that you might know who Mercy Me was!

Happy Wednesday Hump Day!๐Ÿซ

Jeff

As we have said before, great minds think alike!

I don't know much about the band, but I know they do a good version of "he is Lord", it comes from scripture out of Philippians!

I had a very happy hump Day, I hope you did too!

Wishing you a very happy Thursday.

Roy

You've got to check out that movie if you haven't already done so at some point, Roy!

It is very inspiring!

Happy Thursday!

Jeff๐Ÿ™

Thank you, Jeff, maybe it is something I can watch with my wife; she enjoys films. I've just found the link on Amazon prime, thank you.

Have a great Friday.

Roy

Sounds good, Roy! I have Prime too since sometimes I read and review books for people!

Enjoy your Friday!

Jeff

Good morning Jeff,

Prime is great from the point of view that we can order a product and it arrives the next day in most cases! The only thing I am finding with Amazon is that I have to be careful not to purchase rubbish!

A very happy Saturday to you.

Roy

Very true, indeed, Roy! We have to watch out for the junk on any platform!

Happy Saturday!

Jeff

This is true, Jeff! The good thing about Wealthy Affiliate, is that I see good things!

We watched the film on your recommendation, Jeff, last night! What an excellent and lovely story! So many times, I literally get annoyed with films that appear to sound good, but are absolute rubbish!

Although I had heard the song, "I can only imagine", I had no idea that there was a film. I think my wife got through quite a few tissues! Thank you so much for the heads up, Jeff, we really appreciate it! My wife asked if you have any more recommendations?

Wishing you a great Sunday.

Roy

There are a lot of good things in WA, Roy!

As for the movie, I have seen it a few times, and I must admit, I always cry!

I'll think about some other movies that you might be interested in, and I'll pass them along.

I hope your Sunday is going Great!

Jeff

Wealthy Affiliate really has an upbeat community, I guess Kyle and Carson have worked hard to make it like this. Most of the forums I write on are nowhere near as friendly as Wealthy Affiliate!

Well, I must admit, it is a bit of a tearjerker, what a wonderful story though! It's so nice to sit and listen to a good film rather than being disappointed by a load of rubbish! At least when I watch Laurel and Hardy, I know that I'm going to be entertained, totally!

That would be great, thank you! One of my two favourite Christian films are War Room and Faith Like Potatoes by Angus Buchan, both excellent films!

Have a great Monday.

Roy

One movie that comes to mind for me is "It's A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stuart! A classic if there ever was one!

Happy Monday!

Jeff

Thank you, Jeff, I will mention it to Vasiliki, we certainly enjoyed the other film, a really great story!

I appreciate the heads up.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Roy

You're very welcome, Roy!

Jeff

Morning Jeff.

That's a good idea to knock $5 off the customer's bill if it was an easy job to do for two reasons. The first is you will be his go-to if he needs another job done as he knows you are honest and won't rip him off. The second is he will likely refer you to his friends if they need a locksmith.

When I started off in life as a sales rep my favourite 'close' was always 'I want your business - what do I have to do to get it?'

It still is.

Whatever objections they came out with deal with them and get the contract out.

I suggest you should take this approach. When you knocked $5 off the guy's bill it would be a good idea to ask for some referrals in a non-sales-like manner. I would say something like...

"Thank you for your custom - I value your business and will always work hard to get it. Here are 5 of my business cards. Please pass them on to your family and friends and if they ever need a locksmith they can give me a call"

Referred leads from a satisfied customer are the strongest you'll ever get.

Now, are you sitting down? I have some extremely upsetting news for you!!!!!

I won't be able to read your blog in the morning and will be offline until Sunday afternoon. It's a night out with the boys tonight and I'm staying over at my mate's house. We'll hit a few bars and have a beer or three. My mate is so funny when he has got a few beers down his neck he makes everyone laugh with his antics. Did I tell you about the time we all went to a small town in Wales for the weekend and decided to do a streak along the high street? We were so drunk we couldn't remember where we had left our clothes heheh. It was like 10 drunk naked men walking up and down the high street at 2 am in the morning trying to find something to wear!

Happy days.

Or did I tell you about the time we had a few beers in Blackpool and ...... OK, that's for another time ;-)

Laters Jeff,

Paul

PS give my regards to Jeef

EDIT - You know Jeff I think about this one a bit more. How about this? Get some more business cards printed with a 'call to action' on them. Have a code printed on them with an expiry date of say 3 months. Let's take the bloke you did the work for yesterday. You give him 5 cards with the code and expiry date on them.

Something like this...

Code 12345 Expiry date July 1st.

Offer a 10% discount if they use the code before the date printed. Now the bloke yesterday may give one to his Mother for example. They both know her front door lock could be made more secure and will need replacing at some point in the future. The 10% 'call to action' discount is going to tempt them to take action now = another job for you. All it will cost you is the price of the business cards and might help you get new customers.

It may work and it may not. However, you only need to get one job from it and the cost of printing the cards will be covered. If you get a referral from it then you give that customer 5 cards as well and so forth. Just a thought and maybe worth a punt?

That was my initial thought too, Paul, and when I first got there, I told him I would save him a lot of money if the lock merely needed a lube, but that turned out not to be the case, but he was still quite pleased, and because it was easier than I thought it would be, I bumped him down a few bucks. It was a very pleasant transaction.

You make valid points on the referral system, but he was an out of towner, still though, I have done similar things in the past too!

I will take that into conisderation too, I have done something like that ins the past, and it worked okay--not great, but okay! I do need to get some new business cards soon, so when I do, I might give that a whirl!

Great advice!

Enjoy your Saturday!

Jeff

Glad your day was good, Jeff.

Mine started pretty well. But then I went to my dad's computer to print out a recipe for a steak and there was a Windows Defender Warning that we had a Trojan and to call Microsoft Support to fix it. That took the majority of the day. Then I cooked hamburgers instead of steak and just now getting back here. Microsoft has my dad's computer tied up until Monday, if not longer. :p

Have a good evening. Going to do notifications and sign off.

JD

I'm sorry to hear about that, JD! Souds like the hamburgers were pretty god though!

Have a nice rest of the night!

Jeff๐Ÿ˜ด

They were. Thanks. Dad says he will put my burgers up against anyone's. :d

I am going to try.

You Too.

JD

I'd love to have one of those burgers too, JD!

Jeff๐Ÿ”

Maybe you need to come to visit.

JD

That is an enticing offer, JD!

Jeff

We can talk about it and I would have to talk to my folks, but maybe.

JD

Haha! Sounds good, JD!

Jeff

:D

๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

They look worn out now. They'll be fine after a good sleep.
Friday was a pleasant day here, good company and a coffee in the park.
Saturday will be 8 hours of Rugby, starting at 12 noon. All that TV to watch, beer to drink and food to eat. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.
As for the rest of FriSatSu, no plans yet, something will turn up.
Enjoy the weekend buddy.
Bux

They sure will be, Bux!

I'm glad you had an excellent day! Saturday sounds even better!

You are right, somebody has to do it, my friend! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿบ

Something always turns up on Frisatsu!

Enjoy!

Jeff

That's a cute pic of the dogs with their green hats! Say, have you had a green beer today? Sounds like you had a really great day, Jeff. Happy St. Patrick's Day...have a super evening.

Susan โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿถ

Thanks, Susan! I did have one green beer today. The day was better than I could have hoped for! Happy St, Patty's day! Enjoy your evening too!
