Frigid & Forlorn Friday Frisatsu!

I decided to watch the State of the Union address last night from the Big screen in my warm bed. It was frivolous and disappointing, but I ended up going to sleep not too long after it.
As expected, there had been more rain, so that did not surprise me either. At the time, that seemed to have dissipated. Hopefully, the day will get better as it progresses.
Then after getting the coffee going, it was time to hit the Wealthy Affiliate Community for the first Frisatsu foray.
That will again set the tone for the new day. That truly did not take too much time this time.
Kitty might have helped a bit at the time too, since she casually sauntered in the office later in the morning. Surprisingly, she stayed around for a little longer than usual.
I finally decided to venture outside a little earlier than usual when it was still 35 degrees and damp to capture some images of what may or may not be a warming new day.
Hopefully, it will improve over time, but if it doesn't, I still have a lot of tasks to complete.
There was, right after that a call from Monica, so that was quite nice too. She will be working a ten hour shift this morning. I hope that it all goes well for her. That brightened the dismal day a bit for me.
Early in the coming afternoon, I have an errand to run, and I need to check things at the locksmith shop house too. It has been a couple of days since I have been over there. I am just really ready to get Spring re-started again.
After 1:30 pm, I just bit the bullet and headed out.
I was almost reluctant to take more pictures, but the drive over to the shop house was as good as it was likely going to get.
I checked things out at the shop house and everything still seemed to be satisfactory, so that was a good thing.
On the way back to the eBay house which is when I ran my errand!
When I got back, I reached out to Colorado to insure that Tom had gotten the invoice amount that I sent earlier in the morning.
He and I chatted for about a half hour, and I think that was an awesome conversation. He might be a lifelong friend after our chat. I was quite happy about that positive development too.
We always have to take advantage of those opportunities when they present themselves. We never know what is right around the corner--it could be the opportunity of a lifetime!
After the long conversation there are some other tasks that I am still working on. Rainy days afford us those chances!
I finally had to take a nap, and that lasted for about an hour and a half.
When I got back up I know that in a few hours--I might chat with my mother up in Alaska! I'll see how that goes later. The time difference for her and I can be quite tedious.
Right now, the temps have dropped to 34 degrees again. Oh Joy! I do know that I will sleep very well tonight when I hit the hay for the final time! That might be a while later though.
Nothing had changed when I woke up except the temp was a little lower.
I captured another image anyway. The new post will come in a little while!
I will still be on the computer for a while though.
I TRUST THAT THE FIRST DAY OF FIRSATSU HAS GONE WELL FOR EVERYONE. FOR THE MOST PART, MINE HAS BEEN OKAY, AND PRODUCTIVE!

I think the State of the Union address would have put me to sleep too Jeff. My mother used to watch the Queens Christmas address and as a young boy I had to suffer it. It put me off for life!
We've had plenty of rain this side of the Pond but this last week has been dry.

I like what you said about opportunities could be right around the corner. This is so true. It reminded of myself about 2 decades ago when I was in church, and a lady was sitting right in front of me. At the time I was looking for a graphic designer. One day the logo of a New Credit Union was unveiled, and she was introduced as the author of it. We later became business partners. You never know who is close or next to you.
