Current Domain holdings Valuations (Estimated, of course!)
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
Here is an update on my post, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jeffreybrown/blog/i-bought-2... ,
regarding my possible venture into Domain internet real estate sales (or flipping)!
I won't name the domains, but here are the estimated values:
$1,167.00, $987.00, $984.00, $948.00, $927.00, $727.00, $610.00, $575.00, $561.00, $365.00, and $347.00!
Remember, these are only estimates! But it certainly makes you wonder about the potential here!
I will post again, when I find out more information. GoDaddy has a domain value estimator which you can use to check your own!
See you all later!

Hi Jeff food for thought, like all things online we have to invest time into it, onorder to pass through the learning curve and then apply that knowledge.
Like you say the valuation can give us guidence, do we hold, try to sell it, go for a higher value or decrease the valuation and go for sale at a 20% discount to the valuation.
When we look at it WA domains are an overlooked opportunity.
Domains can be a lucrative income stream.
A trading maxim; a bird in hand is worth two in the bush.
And,
If we explore a market and see some success hopefully we are not a one hit wonder.
Keep us up dated Jeff, this aspect of online marketing fascinates me.
Alex
Thank you, Alex, and it is important for us to also, "Know when to hold 'em, Know when to fold 'em...", etc.!😉
Jeff
Interesting subject. I actually know someone who flips domains and makes a good living. I believe it has to do with being at the right place at the right time, which is how we got into Wealthy Affiliates, so we all have that covered, right?
Have a great week, Jeffrey.
Thank you, Joss! I thought I might dabble in it a little and see what happens! You're right--we have that covered!
Jeff
Amazing Jeff! Glad that the domain gave great value (estimation)
Thank you for sharing...
All the best,
Kiki

Jeff if your realy considering selling a domain I highly recommend you use flippa.com I’ve had good experiences with them. If you list it on flippa.com
Chances are you’ll get more for your domains they also have a free valuation tool if any of those domains are generating revenue your talking a big pay day. Godaddy is ok but I myself have had much better luck on flippa there’s a lot more serious buyers with more $$$ on there my freind. I wish you the best of luck Jeff I just thought I’d share that with you because I’ve used both and now I won’t use anything but flippa.com it’s a night and day difference.
Thanks for this information, Jonathon! I'm gathering all that I can to compare, but you make a pretty good case here!
Jeff
No problem Jeff just helping out a freind I know lots of hard work goes into domains and the content in them and I see so many people sell there domain for 700 bucks then see that same domain sell for 150,000 a few weeks later it’s just like real estate you’ve really got to watch out and it’s smart to compare like your doing that’s something I probably should have done myself a time or two. Let me know how it goes Jeff remember sky’s the limit for domains my freind.
Best of luck and success ,
Jonathon
I'll keep updating, Jonathon, but a couple of these domains will be empty! Is that going to be a big problem?
Jeff
It all depends on the buyer and what they are looking for specifically I’ve heard of domain names selling for up in the millions. it realy all depends on how bad someone wants the name so it being an empty domain shouldn’t be an issue. because in some cases that’s what people are shopping for. Say for instance someone goes to purchase a ceartin domain like let’s say your domain they will see that you own the domain and then from there you can name the price and if they want it bad enough they will pay big money$$. Especially if a big company or corporation wants to purchase
Yes, Jonathon! I was thinking of that as well. I appreciate your affirmation! I'm going to check out flippa.com tomorrow and compare some things! I appreciate all your help!
Jeff
Your very welcome Jeff anytime I wish you all the best of luck with that tomorrow. if you need anything else just let me know.
Jonathon
I certainly will, Jonathon!
