With massive wind chills, I have been staying at Ron's House. Kitty has been staying with a friend! Humphrey showed up there of all places, but the image didn't take!
By the middle of the week, I should be back in full hopefully. Bitter cold still prevails, but there might be light at the end of the tunnel! We shall see!

It's good to hear from you, Jeff! It's great that you are staying at Ron's! I'm glad you told me in a previous comment that you were going away, otherwise I would have wondered!
I looked up the temperatures for Kansas the other day, Jeff, I couldn't believe it, the temperatures were in Celsius! It said it was minus 21° C. I have just put that into a converter, and it's minus five point eight Fahrenheit!! How can anyone live normally in those temperatures? I think we need to arrange an expenses paid trip for Uncle Bill to visit, he can stay in a tent!!

It deeply saddens me when I see young men in Israel serving the country. Earlier this week there were 21 men killed in an explosion which was an accident. These men are genuinely fighting for their country as the enemy wants to wipe them off the planet, we know that can't happen.
My point being that people like yourself were potentially putting your life on the line, you deserve to be looked after, Jeff. People never know when they will be called up.

I had a bit of sad news yesterday as my brother-in-law passed away after a battle with cancer for a few years. He was doing quite well and then went into hospital for something and ended up with an infection that his body couldn't fight.
Sadly, I see far too many people going to hospital and coming out dead. He had had five vaccines, I believe; I told my sister, who also doesn't like vaccines, that they shouldn't take them. But the National Health Service insisted that he had to have them; otherwise, they couldn't treat him! What a lie!
I said to my sister a couple of years ago that marriage can be difficult, and her answer was, "I don't know; we have never had a problem"! They had over 51 years of marriage together! He will be greatly missed, as he was a brilliant brother-in-law, husband, father and grandfather.
