Team work!

Hello there my fellow Affiliates! This post will be very short but could turn out to be very productive for all of us. The other day I was thinking about the community and about how big and capable of great things we are. We basically fuel the web with our knowledge. We talk to others on a daily basis asking how they are doing, sharing tips and boosting morale. That's what makes the difference here, it is the community. So how else can this community help itself?

The POWER OF THE NUMBER is what comes to mind here. Let me explain what I mean. Everyday I read 4-5 articles on things that are important to me, a few less important and like everyone else I leisure on Social Media once in a while... ok ok too often lol So I decided to invest a little more time here in the community but not here on the platform.

So I will provide an example right after but here is what I started to do and what you could do to help out as well. I will read 3 posts a week from people on my network here at WA and I will share on all my Social Media accounts. *I mean posts/article/blog from your website that you created, not from the WA platform* It should provide you a few if not many clicks depending on your subject. Are you willing to do this for others? Think about the numbers...

Cute Little Numbers

I looked at how many followers I have on my SM platforms and I figured that when I post my articles I get a few clicks every time. ( I don't get as much as I would like because my blog is in English and 85% of my audience on SM is French. My French post got a lot of clicks though but that's a story for some other time).

Let's crunch numbers with a typical WA member: Gus who has about 545 friends on Facebook, 321 relations on LinkedIn and 198 Twitter fans. Gus reads my blog and decides to post it on all platforms. It gives me a DIRECT potential of 1064 clicks. Let's say only 1% of these people click on it, it gives me 10 new clicks I would never have got if I wasn't part of this great community. If anyone in Gus's friends and followers likes it and shares, who knows what the potential is!!! Now let's say Rhonda likes my present blog and decides to do the same thing but she has a total of 2300 friends and followers, I might now get another 23 clicks and countless re-shares and re-Tweets. So 33 clicks plus any repercussion clicks from those 3 it becomes exponential. If those clicks convert into regular trafic on your site, it will also bring new trafic down the road when your new followers will share your other articles through time. You see where I am going with this? These are just regular Jo's numbers. Imagine if the people who share your content actually have 10000 followers? Like I said, these were very conservative Cute Little Numbers

Take the time to share other people's blog. Make the community work for you. I intend to do it for 3 WA in my network every week. That will help 150 members after a year. If I have provided let's say 100 click to each through time, well that's 15000 clicks I helped members to get and that warms my heart. **Short add-on: it can happen that what I read doesn't talk to me much but will definitely hit the bullseye with one of my friends so I share the post and tag that person specifically. That opens another great door as all of his/her friends will see the post he is tagged into***

On top of that, I believe I will find blogs that will really become part of my life as some of my weekly or daily reads. By helping others, I will actually learn a lot of things, isn't that great?
