Quick Question
Hello guys, how do you reorder your pages. So for example, the pages may be in the order "About Me" "Privacy Policy" etc, you get the picture. What should I do if I want it "Home", "Blogs" etc. Hola back, need some quick responses, working on that now. Thanks in advance

Just go to your dashboard, then "pages." Open whichever page you want to order. Go to its page attributes on the right side (below the update button). If the page is on your menu, the parent is "no parent" and below the template, it says "Order". That's where you write the order of your pages (0, 1, 2, 3, ...). You do the same with pages under a parent. You can also order them from 0, 1, 2, ... according to your preference as they appear on the drop down. I hope I gave a clear explanation.
Your pages will show in the order built...Try building test pages to make sure you are getting the look you want.
Great training Skyhorse. Also you need to consider the way the theme allows you to arrange your menu. Some themes let you put a menu above your header, others it's only below. Some let you place it on either I believe. Glad you got it sorted J.

J, this happened to me before. I logged out of my site after saving everything I'd done. Shut it all down. Then I went back to my WA and opened it from scratch there again, and it worked. It took me 4 goes one time - totally brassed off I was. Do you have any of your pages indented on your menu pages tab. If nothing is working, is it possible that you have created more than one menu with the same name? Have a look. If not, you may have to delete the menu you have, uncheck all the pages you have ticked under "Edit Menus". Pages, Most Recent and start again.
Thank you Annie, I would try again. I deleted the old menu, saved everything. I have no sub-menus so I'll shut everything down and see what happens. Thanks again
Log in to your wordpress, appearance, menus. On the left you'll see a list of your pages. If you've already got them in a menu list then do this..you'll see "Menu Structure" a bold header. Underneath are your pages, hover over each page, eg Home and a 4 headed arrow appears, simply click and drag the pages in whatever order you choose. Then on the right. click on the blue button "save menu". If you've already got your website open in another tab/window, click the refresh, near or in your browser. It should re-arrange everything then. Hope this helps.
I did what you and Ferns said and opened the site in a new window, my homepage is opening up first but the menu order has not rearranged. I don't know what the problem is
I am new and this how I did it.....
Go to dashboard....appearance...click on menu. create a new menu.......you can name it what you want......then you will see all your pages on the left....tick whichever you want and click add to menu.....you see all gone under the menu on the right. now you can click and drag it down or up and move it where you want. you can also indent it.......

Sometimes it depends on the theme....You may have to have a static page for the home....on the right top....click on your name not the edit my profile and you can set your static page with a featured image .......my understanding???? I may be wrong

I wondered what order 0 was, would that be the first page? Why doesn't it start at 1?
