On the Move!
So here we are, ready to pack up our travel trailer and move onto the next adventure...
The journey so far has been nothing short of ups and downs. When I started in WA almost 1year and 6 months ago, I did not expect to have learned what I have in this time frame. For me, the key is working a seasonal camphost job 5-6 months of the year in the summer time, while putting in the other 5-6 months consistently on WA.
What I can say is this:
- I did NOT expect to see rank 78 today. That's an accomplishment.
- I did NOT expect to have 3 websites and a Shopify store site on the go.
- 1 of these websites is my main focal site and I put 55% of my energy into it. I've changed the theme at least a dozen times before finally getting my brand and logo to correspond with it. I've also adapted a new style to showcase some of my affiliate links better. My goal with this site was to have it more operational for the beginning of this season.
- The shopify website I spend 12% of my energy on. I've set everything up through automation for the most part, and linked it to my main site. They go hand in hand and although I could have done a Woocommerce approach, I researched to find dropshipping works better with Shopify.
- The 2nd website I spend 4% on, and that one was created 1 month after my 1st website. I ignored the recommendation to ONLY focus on one thing at a time and grow it until it's generating your revenue before you decide to move onto the second site. This site started out being a task for my wife to do, but she's decided after 17 years of marriage (It's our anniversary by the way - APR 9th) that the websites are mine and she's getting plans ready for another project.
- That leaves 29% of my energy spent on my latest website created finally to promote WA which I started literally when the roll-out of HUBS. I followed the training and got it implemented where it's a sit and wait site now.
- I did NOT expect to design Print On Demand products to promote on my store page that ties in with my RV niche. Who knew finding ways to monetize these websites come in all shapes and sizes.
- And lastly I did NOT expect to have Beer with Kyle Fridays...
Something tells me having a LIVE Friday webinar for 30 minutes, like a ZOOM meeting, where members can bounce ideas off of these guys isn't going to happen anytime soon.
I DID however, expect to see my first commisions start to trickle in. This did happen, but not in the ways I expected.
I also scrapped my attempt of running google ads on my other website because they thought it wasn't good enough. It didn't surprise me really, and soon afterwords, they rolled out all these changes anyway. Why subject my brain through the pain?
What can you expect from me over these next 6 months? Not a lot really, at least on the WA platform. I'll be letting my rankings slip away slightly. This is the 3rd season as camphosts, but the 1st at a new park with a new role. I'm quite excited really, so most of my attention will be with that.
However, I will get settled when possible, and when that happens, I'll use whatever wifi signal I can use to push out an article on each of these sites at least once a week. I calculate 3 articles (1 for each site) x 4 weeks, that's 12 articles a month x 5 months, that's 60 articles. It's not my goal, but It's something and it's consistency.
My expectations in doing this is to get more AMAZON sales (because I re-joined with them) because I finally have MORE TRAFFIC than I did 1 year and 6 months ago...which was 0!
Anyways, that's about it. It's been a while since I blogged on here, so I figured why not go and let this awesome family we have in here know what my plans are.
If there's something that I could leave you with, is this:
Be grateful for every moment you get for doing the things you love the most. As sometimes these adventures take wild turns, we still need to remain laser focused, and have patience. Sometimes it's tough. Sometimes we luck out. But no matter what, at the end of the day, if you haven't stepped out of your comfort zone just once, you'll never get to where you SHOULD be, because you're only still going to be stuck where your at! And this isn't a bad thing, it'll just take you longer.
Guess what, we all have the same thing.....and that's TIME!In conclusion, when you multi-task like I have done, and look back on it, I realize, I'm growing my brand. Even with a Youtube channel! I'm going to be the biggest, best, bad-ass blogger I can be and no-one will stop me.
Thanks for making it to the end!
Cheers ALL!

2 things caught my attention - A Zoom Call with Kyle, and Your desire to master blogging.
The same thing hit me yesterday when I posted to my blog.
Why isn't there a Zoom call?
I am certain that 1 million people on a call might be overwhelming, but there is a way to geographically divide up the community, assign days, and just answer questions.
Put the limit to the types of questions that are not currently set up to answer.
How is my website, is definitely not a question to ask.
A review of the direction could be done.
We are on the same page here.
