Welcome to the mind of a hustler.

No, I'm not about to offer you illicit substances, take your car, or speak in rhyme. I will, however, allow you a front row seat to that mind frame. Some of you just scoffed. Some of you have no idea what I mean. Some of you are amused and interested already.

For you folks in the middle group, hang on tight! Online marketing is a hustle. In fact, in my opinion it's harder than the illegal counterpart. I've never witnessed thousands of dealers on the same block, have you? You, in the collared shirt and sweatpants, your wife is watching, quit grinning.

No, what we do won't land us in jail or worse, but what I mean is the dedication. The drive, the make it or else attitude. The thought that if we don't get out on that corner (WA, your website, your sales booth) we won't eat tonight (30, 60, 90 days, follow?) The thought that whatever it takes for us to succeed, we must do, and do better than the guy on the next corner. If you are nodding your head, or grinning like sweats over there who's sleeping on the couch tonight, follow me, message me, let's claim the neighborhood and work together to attain more real estate. You have the mind of a hustler.

I have come a long way in almost 40 years. I witnessed the very first marketing efforts of what became the internet, and kick myself for not realizing what was in front of me. A week ago I took the first steps to catch up. Today I placed myself firmly in the midst of the pack. And this, my first ever blog attempt, was an exercise to gain steam towards the front of the line.

I thank you all for reading this. I've had severe writer's block for content, and a bit of fear that I wasn't going to churn anything out. I figured I'd use the tools I paid for to get over that hurdle, and get advice from the folks who went from hustler to kingpin as well as others like myself to critique and discuss what I did well, what I didn't, and what I...we..can do to make it better. I appreciate any and all comments, messages, likes, dislikes.. be honest, I'm a big boy, I know I color outside of the lines time to time.
