Stuck in a Loop.
If I could Re-Boot My self I would?...Been trying to get Motivated the last few weeks and Just not interested. I suppose that reflects in my WA ranking, as I was around the 160 mark top 200,now its up around 190, and I know I should be contributing back, but I just keep seeing the same thing in the emails.
I wrote a few posts and blogs on motivation, dedication, and all the good things we all blog about, and I see it repeated in many blogs here, I signed up a new member and they left after a week?, I keep checking my Google ranking and stats, and feel as if I am wasting my time. I think I have lost my MOJO?... Its been a very difficult last 3 weeks getting our house ready for Auction in late October, I have repaired the broken bits and pieces, those annoying little jobs we all have, painted the inside and outside, added new carpet to the bedrooms, landscaped the gardens added new plants and flowers, its spring here and the new blooms look great.
I think I just had a power surge to the brain?
If I think about it, renovating the house for sale is like building a website or an online business?, you start with the basics,(WA and WP) add improvements each day, (training)add some bling and bright colours,(blogs n posts) then when its to your satisfaction, you take photo's and advertise.(Publish - feedback) The big billboard on the front lawn tells the world around us this gem of a house is for Auction(my landing page)..In thinking of what I have done the last few weeks its as if I have been given the basics, being self taught in home renovations, I learned how to improve and create a House( a website) that is visually appealing and and very livable (great usefull content).
WOW.... I think I know what was wrong, I was thinking all the time about getting the house squared away for auction, not thinking about my website, it was in the back of my mind to get online but the house was a priority. The website will now be a priority I think, finish the last 2 modules of training level 5, fix up the website to be more appealing and add lots of content. I have to get my first offering in training out to the members asap its been burning a hole in the back of my brain for weeks now....
I think I needed to Vent the negative away and look towards the positives that I know are afforded to me here at WA. Time for head down and butt up again, I think I'm about 6-8 posts behind where I should be with the age of my website, its only 3 months old and I now have 40% trust from google... see how I go by Xmas, may reach 1
stranger things have happened.
don't get stuck on thought, motivation or writing get on with it, learn and profit
This video is something very special so have a look my WA Family, enjoy

I would not worry too much about it Jay.We all go through trying times and If I had a pound for every time I have not done anything here,I would be a very rich man.Sometimes we just need to take a rest and then reboot when you are ready again,I have been here over a year and a half and I am earning nothing, but that is not WA fault,s it is due to my ability to work or not work due to illness.
Do what you can when you can,and when cannot do anything just do something else you enjoy.
Hi John, nice blog, love the video. As the song says: "Always look on the bright side of life."
Great Blog. What a great way to point out how you can get sidetracked and get back on the train. Also enjoyed the video.
Now that's a good blog for talking yourself out of the blues. Way to go. You did do a lot for your house, that's quite a list. So don't beat yourself up about your site. Keep going. :)
John, Wow you came back with a very positive thought. I know the work that you have done to your house, and it was a must. But to I think it has given you the break that you needed. Now you can be more focused on what you have worked so hard on...and It has given you a fresher out look on things.
I don't like to see you beating yourself up. Fixing up the house has been an important "interruption" in your usual routine but I think you saw that this evening as you prepared your blog. Frequently, I get disrupted and then totally involved in anything but WA but I find when I get the time to go back to it, even for a very short time, I can make a little progress which stimulates me to do more. Best wishes for a quick end to this malaise.
Great post John.
I'm sure we will all go through waves and nodes in our motivation and productivity. Don't beat yourself up. You'll come back up again :-)

Sometimes seem to get a little trite and difficult to concentrate on. Taking time out to some physical endeavors, helps to clear the brain so you can get back to writing. I do these blogs up here, just on my site. I mean if I have something to say I will, but I don't consider it crucial. Just help people out from time to time and the ranking will take care of itself. Mine bounces like a yoyo. Once you're physically tired, your brain will slip into over drive.
