I have been getting several emails from Word Press for 4 of my new pages & posts, which read "A new pingback on the post... is waiting your approval. Do you want to moderate
Sorry, Settings>Discussion
it's the second choice from the top
Open a post in edit mode and go to "Screen options" . There you can uncheck "send Track backs" if it is checked
John
Got it! Thank you John.
For a moment you had me going, my friend.
It was checked & I unchecked it. I appreciate your assistance.
Have a great day... Jay
I have de-selected pingbacks from other blogs in the reading settings, as John has suggested. Most of the time pingbacks are spam. You don't need them. ~Jude
Hello Jude, as I replied to John below, I am unable to find the exact location ti de-select pingbacks in Dashboard. If you can, please give me a step-by-step path to it, please!
Thanks... Jay
I'm glad John helped you to resolve it. It is in Discussion as John says. Sorry I mentioned reading settings - my mistake. ~Jude
Thanks John,
Would you be kind enough to give me a more detailed path to turn them off? the path "Settings > Reading" in Dashboard doesn't give me such an option. I would appreciate it if you could spell it out clearly for an old guy!
Thank you so much,
Jay Barnelli
oh I have never had this would be interested to see what it is myself a bit over my head try asking in live chat to
Katie, I just sent the correct way to control "pingbacks", as John had informed me, to Sam above. Take a look at it & see if it will be of help to you, too.
Take care,
Jay
I saw something on ping backs this morning and went on to rectify it, it was a question from Apache1 so when I saw the answer headed over to my site to sort it out.. many thanks

I am in need of more font choices & am not sure what WP pugins are available out there that are safe to use. I appreciate you help. Thanks... Jay
One of our members (JohnMaheu) recommended CKeditor in a previous post. It went a little funky on me so I went with WP Edit which I think was recommended by Kyle. It's a liter version of CKeditor, but very easy to use.
If you search "changing font size" in the WA search bar above you'll get many other recommendations.
Thank you my friend. I I will try out WP Edit & see how it works.
I appreciate your help & wish you all the best... Jay
Using fonts outside of the ordinary may look cool on your website, but unless you load the fonts with your page, or link to where the fonts are available, then you will be the only one who can see what it is supposed to look like. Use on-line fonts from google, and not any special fonts you have installed on your machine.
Hi Jay
The one I use is called Use Any Font Version 4.2.1 | By Dinesh Karki .
This allows me to change the fonts as if in word.
Different font styles and font sizes being using this from the start of joining with no problems also allow for color changes.
