Positive Vision

"In order to carry a Positive Action We must Develop here a Positive Vision" Dalai Lama

Very often, we work toward our goal with a Positive Action but somehow when success is near, we blew it away. Destroy whatever foundation that we had laid before.

So we start again, and again we fail. What seems to be the stumbling block that blocks our success?

Why is it that many people who work very hard, and some work hard and smart but the illusive success just elude them.

They set goals, plan of action, work their plan and monitor their progress but they just cannot make it.

The simple reason is that they have a Vision not in congruent with their action and goal. Whenever the goal is near, their negative vision will creep in and tell them that they ere not good for success, hence they sabotage themselves out of success.

This morning, I happened to watch a video on habits of success and the first habit that the Guru taught is Don't Set Goal, Set Vision.

His argument is we must see ourselves from the future and work backward to today. With such vision, we hold an Image of ourselves in future and when we work on our goal, the vision and our action will be in congruent.

This theory is one which I have been subscribed to for a long time from Dr. Maxwell Maltz's book, Psycho-Cybernetics who said that, "We Act, Behave ad Feel according to ourselves image to be, and we do not Deviate form this Pattern."
