Comment vs Feedback
Hi folks...its me...Jason...Back again!!! Sorry
I'm just hoping and praying and praying and hoping that this little blogette will reach some of the folks who are still the tiniest bit confused between the concept of....
COMMENT
and
FEEDBACK
While I freely admit to being no expert at this online business...freely and gladly, freely and gladly ...and all that jazz!
I do know the difference between COMMENT and FEEDBACK
So at the risk of repeating myself ....
(PLEASE TURN COMPUTER TO SILENT MODE TO AVOID THE TERRIBLE WAILING AND SCREAMING OF A MIDDLE AGED MAN LOSING HIS MARBLES)
When we ask for a comment we would like you:
To express an opinion or have a reaction to the article we have posted. Please feel free to agree or disagree. Either is fine. In fact either is wonderful.
Please engage with our post. Ask questions. Give your thoughts. Tell us we are right, wrong or completely insane.
Write us the comment that you yourself would deem worthy of posting to the general wide old world of web...because its going public!
For the love of all things decent ....a comment is NOT:
"I'm not sure I would use green as my heading...I don't really like green..."
or
"Your website looks really nice and you are learning how to set it up well"
COMMENTS mean I want you to talk about my content - NOT my widgets, my website design, my colour scheme, my side bars or how pretty I look in the morning....
The above mentioned is feedback... you may make your own mind up as to the quality of it...
oh and before we go on (or before I go on...lol)

FEEDBACK....
This time I DO want your opinion on how I can improve my website. Talk to me about my widgets, and colour scheme and layout. Tell me how you, as a unique viewer to my site found it...was it easy to navigate, was it well laid out, was it user friendly?
...tell me the things you thought were good and tell me how to improve.
You can say anything you like...I wont be offended.. I actually want your feedback because I want my website to be as good as it can be

This blog isn't a vitriolic reaction to negativity...one piece of feedback told me how I needed to improve my site in many ways...and while it was initially hard to take...he was right! and I changed it and now... wow ...it looks so much better...so that feedback was perfect!
Sadly I also got one of the BEST bits of feedback ever..the person in question was spot on and her statements were brilliant...sadly posted when I asked for COMMENTS...so i had to decline and refuse it...sad...because it was truly great feedback...just not something i want posted on my sites public wall!

Very nice Jason.
One note on the hair - you don't lose it - it just moves to different body regions, like the nostril braid, the ear forest and so on. I was going to look for pictures but when I actually read the term nostril braid I figured I didn't want to see that before bed ... mmmmm or ever.

This is great and I do hope more people read it. Another thing to mention is that when people do leave comments on your website they need to leave out links to their own website in the comment. People also need to stop adding their website link when they put in their name and email. I have heard from others at WA that doing this KILLS the rankings of the post you commented on.

Jason this blog on comment vs. feedback was both informational and entertaining. I'm not sure if that was feedback or commenting but I sure enjoyed reading your content and your widgets are awesome too......

In short, comment on your post on your site, then feedback here on WA. Is that right? Wanna be sure ... I have this reverse dementia condition that kicks in at the most inopportune time. Im never sure which sock goes on which foot...sigh...

Put a COMMENT ON someone's SITE itself, and THEN give feedback on WEALTHY AFFILIATE??? If THAT's what I'm supposed to do to get more APPROVED COMMENTS, and make my RATING GO UP, then I GUESS I get it now........
