First article published on Street Articles
The next step was to reread the article about properly inserting links into a Street Article. Third time's a charm...nope. I decided that I needed to rewrite the entire last paragraph of the article. Presto, it's done! Going up against the road blocks made the submission feel like a greater feat. The automated feedback that Street Articles provided was very helpful after I realized what I was doing wrong. Here's hoping the second one goes more smoothly.
As a writer, I feel that the article jumps around on points, but this 30 in 30 challenge is meant to push me into becoming a great article contributor. So, I will just keep typing. Here's the article: http://goo.gl/kuDX9

Well done. It's always nice to get the first one under your belt.
I just wanted to make a similar comment that someone else made in SA, You article is great - but really you have two separate topics in one. You want to avoid this from the readers point of view but also for yourself. You could have written 1) Best Flea Treatments and 2) Avoiding fleas in your home.
Keep typing.
I have a long ways to go. I consider it room for improvement. Thanks for reading and commenting!
Nice article, a bit itchy but nice. I am following you on Street Articles and I left you a comment, maybe some new information for a follow up article.
Thanks! I'm actually not pleased with the content of my article. I'm a nit picker when it comes to my writing. Practice makes perfect though.
Hi Jared, Nice job on your first article. I went to your website from a link from your StreetArticle. A flea is a very small niche but I was thinking about doing something similar about our pest here (near Palm Springs) and that is the Waterbug, a giant flying cockroach. Yuck!
I would like to see images of the nasty fleas if you can get some. It is probably impossible to take your own photos--but maybe an infestation on one of your acquaintance's animals (surely not your own).
Also, I would like to see you washing that cat of yours before applying the flea medication! happy emoticon...
Best to you,
Victoria
It is a quite small niche. I think I chose it too soon. I'm going to run with it for now. I've already bought a domain under a much better name where I'm going to soar after I get the hang of this. A larger niche that has the potential of becoming an authority site.
Thank you for the feedback and ideas! I'm going to be posting a video of myself applying Advantage to my kitty Marta very soon. I'm also working on designing a silhouette of a flea with a red cross hair over it for the sites logo. I've found some disturbing pictures of fleas. Make me itchy just looking at them. And not to mention ticks!
Congrats. I did the 30/30 too and got a lot out of it. You are really forced to focus on the content and not promotions. Have fun!

Good job. Keep writing. I hear each one gets easier.
I use silica, food grade diatomaceous earth. Outside surrounding the perimeter of your home, a pinch in the food every day, and if necessary spread and vacuumed on your carpet. No fleas or any crawling insect survives. ^_~ 2307/6/23
Thanks! I've heard of that stuff. I'm going to have to feature natural products somewhere.
