After two chemo treatments, I still keep my promise went back to Ichetucknee Springs as planned with daughters and granddaughter. As, the grandboys they went to stay with grandparents in North Carolina and enjoying fun at Belews Lake.

My daughter Ashley & granddaughter Lily boarding their tube.

Me on far left with hat on my head to protect from sunburn as am starting to lose my hair.

Some of the small caves we floated by but a few on their tubes drifted and was hanging on. I jumped off my tube to help another mom and her young daughter trying to avoid going in the cave as we are supposed to stay out of the caves on our tubes.

More caves we saw floating down River on our tubes. The tube activity is about three hours down river, only one exit halfway points if take the halfway point exit you have to walk over an hour get back to your vehicle.

Meet part of my family, my twin is the selfie person taking the photo up front. My daughter Ashely, LeeAnn, granddaughter Lily, and my brother-law Luke. This is the walk from tram drop off to the river carrying our tubes.

Another picture of me, my two daughters and granddaughter Lily. This was taken on tram ride waiting on others to load their tubes and be taken to the river begin the river tubing relaxation.

Some places of the river would keep you stuck not moving, so to avoid this from happening we would tie together to help others out.

There were some kids that got off their tubes and were trying to swim the river breaking the park rules as they like to preserve the natural springs untouched in certain places and the river is one. By the rules being broken they have already closed one tubing tour and have signs and warnings that they will close this one we did yesterday as well. (Only takes one bad apple to mess up a good thing).

These kids when they made it to the exit end, they were on the dock vomiting. Felt sorry for them, as they couldn't stop. I had extra bottle of the water put out by Gatorade with zero sugar I gave them try get ectrolytes in their systems. Must of worked, because we saw them again at the swimming hole.

After the tube floating down the river of 3 hours, we decided to go back to the swimming hole as last visit the granddaughter slept the entire time, so she got to enjoy for few minutes. As started thundering, lightning, and brief hail. However, the rain stayed so we made the decision to leave.

My daughter got to talking about how she has to get her kids ready to go back school August 14th, nephew starting back August 4th, and another cousin starting college. This reminded me to blog about going back to school making lists, guides, suggestions. Came back did little research, surprised by all the options available this school niche can go different ways and keep you busy for a while.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

I enjoyed it until started lightning. The springs you can see all way to bottom even though parts were very deep.

Sounds great, Janette.

Tubing looks like a blast. Isn’t summer the best? Anne

I love the summer, except the part of being possibly sunburnt that is why I use 100% SPF sunblock.

That's the highest protection I've heard of!

Looks like a lot of fun.

What an awesome adventure, Jannette! That looks like a wonderful day!

It was until the lightning started, don't like being in water when its lightning.

I wouldn't either, Jannette!

Wow these are really great imagery, thank you for sharing Jannette! I wish you a great start to the week.

Thank you, some of the photos look cloudy as we had our phones in waterproof pouches around our necks. Good thing we did, as our phones would not be working.

Yep, I hear you. This happened to me before, I left my mobile in a rice container and got it working again.
