"Burning the Candle. "
Hi Guys,
I guess you have all heard the expression "burning the candle at both ends".
It's all about juggling your work load, and you play, family, social activities and avoiding burn out. If you are burning the candle at both ends trying to get your affiliate marketing work done whilst working a full time job, or maintaining a household wiht kids etc, you could be on your way to burn out.
So pace yourself.
Burn out is not fun, if you have never experienced it. Understand your fixed commitments and prioritise them. These would be your paid work, home duties that need to be done daily etc. Then you can see what time is available for other activities, like building your online business.
There is no point putting unnecessary pressure on yourself to get your new business up and running, trying to force in time when you have commitments that must be done first.
Some might disagree with this. But my experience taught me that, although I didnt like my job and I desperately wanted my online business to be the priority, I still had to attend to my daily work and family commitments first and foremost.
I tried fitting in content writing and website updating during my lunch times at work and when I should have bee talking to my family at home, then late into the night. I was waking up tired and getting less motivated. This is burn out.
So, I have this balance sorted now, and have time for everything.. and my online business is better for it.
Just a thought.

Have tried to hill over a kilometer because the bridge was too low. had overlooked the sign. When yes, it was a foreign city in a foreign country. So, I learned that.
Totally agree, excellent read! Burnout isn’t good and nothing is worth that, I know from experience.

You are absolutely right, and I needed this lesson right now. It's time to take a day to attend to family and other responsibilities! Good reminder!
Lol, James there was a time when I had to replace the candle several times. I did learn to balance all those activities and I am doing much better. Still going to sleep late however. Thanks for the post, it reminded me why we need to slow it down.

That's a great perspective and one I need to start leaning towards. I'm just swamped with everything and you can only lose out on so much sleep before problems start to arise.
If only I didn't need sleep.
