Is this true? I cannot tell yet
Creating this website solely on my cellphone has been trying to say the least, but I am making some headway. I just feel like I am really far behind what I would be doing if I had a laptop but I don't yet so I'm doing the best I can with what I have. I am learning though but am worried because other reviews on other sites about wealthy affiliate say that the information taught here is outdated and irrelevant and that it's not possible to come away from here making any money.
. Those are strong words. They also emphasize not buying into the Ambassador program as they say it's a scam only designed to benefit the owners of the site. I don't know why they would say that seeing as it doesn't sound like they went through the program.
I am hoping we learn how to change our theme without losing our content though because I feel like my website interface is outdated and very generic looking. Guess we will see since I am only halfway through!

Think about all the students at a University?
They were all taught the same lessons but not all were successful

Listen, yes, some of the lessons here are a bit outdated
But Kyle recently blogged about the changes and overhaul of both courses
You can read it here Core Training, Level 1 Refresh Complete! Nevertheless, honestly, you can still use what we have here now to make money.
The foundation course is still able to make you money
My advice is for you to apply the tools, resources, training and the assistance of the community to achieve your goals
Be consistent and focused, applying patience as you do your daily tasks and lessons
There will always be naysayers and others who will say negative things
Keep your business vision in your mind and strive to reach it despite any hurdles, negativity or roadblocks
Finally, please let your success be your voice

Appearance > Themes and add new.
Find what you are looking for, install and activate.
You may lose out on some CSS or social media icons with a bit of tweaking and you are done.
We recommend you leave a back up theme, you may do with the Twenty TwentyOne.
I hear you with regards just your mobile device, however you would need access to a desktop | laptop at some stage to build your site. You may have access to a local library.

This is an internal WA ranking system.
It has no bearing on your business activities or success, there's no benefit or monetary value added to it vs. being active and helping "Paying it Forward" in the community.

The training here has been proven times without number to be a successful formula, just type in success stories and see for yourself.
We would all have to be pretty gullible to stay where we weren't succeeding.
Try and borrow a computer. Abies suggestion about the library is excellent, nice and quiet too.
