Batch tasking for more efficiency.

When setting up our marketing and content one of the most difficult things can be switching gears to make sure we have all our tasks done.

For example… write one article, make social updates, send newsletter etc...

One strategy that has helped me manage this more efficiently is batch tasking.

One day of the week I’ll do all my social updates for the week and schedule them with Hootsuite to go out during the week or the month, then I don’t need to worry about that the rest of the week.

Because I can focus on one type of task without having to switch gears I can get more done in a short period of time.

I do simliar ‘Batch tasking’ for articles, newsletters, and videos...

I may sit and make 7 quick videos then schedule them out for the rest of the week.

I find that being able to focus on one type of activity without the distraction of switching back and forth allows me a much more efficient and focuses workflow.

Anyone else have a strategy?
