A Mid-Month Update (+35% Growth So Far)
I'll get to how my $200k Exit Experiment is going, but first, the cover photo.
Man does my heart break for Lahaina and all of Maui. We've spent a lot of time in that town over the years and just watching it disappear from existence was hard to stomach.
The photo above is one I took just off the coast of Lahaina. All of those buildings in the background are pretty much gone. It's hard to even write that out. Below is Amanda and the kids at the banyan tree.
Part of my motivation for this experiment was to increase revenue so we can (comfortably) afford to go back to Maui in March. We've unfortunately had to cancel our reservations but we do hope to get back there soon.
In Happier News, I'm Up 35% So Far This Month
I posted an update last week: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ivetriedthat/blog/july-2023-earnings-1276-35-a-quick-update
In it, I plugged in my numbers for August for the first 7 days of the month and my average daily earnings grew from about $42.00 in June and July, up to $49.50 for August.
Well, here's how things are looking now:
As you can see, my average daily earnings have jumped up quite a bit. I'm making about $15 extra per day than I had made the previous two months. Part of that is increased traffic, part is better RPMs as well. When both start increasing at the same time, man is it a beautiful thing.
We are only halfway through the month too and things have just been improving week over week. My traffic for the first half of the month is up over 35% compared to the first half of July and week over week keeps looking better and better.
I'm holding out hope that August is my best month of the year so far. Typically, the end of summer is one of my slowest times before really ramping up into Q4.
I've published 27 updates so far out of 60 updates ordered. I also haven't started working on the newsletter yet either.
I'm excited to see what the end of the month will bring (and for school to get back in session so I can properly focus on work once again)
'Til next update.

Steve & Family.
The Hawaiian disaster is extremely said. Maui is one of my favorite places in the whole world. My first husband had family there that owned a candy store. They have some of the best chocolates in the world. Or that might be on another island.
In case you didn't know, if I am not mistaken, there is only a few landmarks left in Maui, one of the churches and the parts of the Banyan tree.
However, it is great to hear about your successes. This is the best news I've heard all day. All success to you as you continue succeeding on your affiliate marketing journey. Keep reaping the benefits of your hard work. Your spreadsheets are pretty awesome. By the way, are you using excel?

Good morning Steve,
Thank you for the update, it's appreciated. It's interesting to look at your progress and see how your website is improving etc.
As for Maui, it's very sad indeed, a massive loss of life and huge amounts of damage. I've seen some of the aerial photographs and it doesn't make sense to me why some buildings are still standing and other places have completely gone. Many trees are totally untouched. I did hear that five famous people have properties there including Bill Gates, all those properties were totally untouched!!
It's great that your business is moving forward again!
Have a great day.

I sympathize with our brothers and sisters in Maui who lost loved ones and property in the massive fire that engulfed the city. I pray that God will comfort them on all sides.
Your earnings are showing a steady growth. I pray that these rivulets of income will become a steady stream of income in no distant future.
Very well done, Steve! I am also unhappy about what happened on Maui!
God Bless those people!
Jeff🙏

Totally agree with you, it’s a terrible disaster with the death rate climbing daily.
These wild fires are creating devastation and massive loss of life to all descriptions (wildlife is often overlooked) . Families, homes, businesses , all torn apart.
It will take a long time to recover.
But life does recover and go on and on a positive note well done on your business update.
Onwards and upwards .
Dougie 🙏
