I have been getting more engagement as of late thanks to the feedback feature here on WA. However When someone leaves a comment on wordpress publicly it shows
"Hi, this
The problem here appears to be: 1. Tweak the theme with coding (repair/revise) or 2. Remove and replace your theme. Here is an assembly of pointers you may not have researched: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/checklist-15-things-you-must-do-before-changing-wordpress-themes/
What theme are you using? I saw what you are talking about. Have you approved any of the comments yet?
All comments have been approved! I plan on comments being a big part of my site so this is turning into a major issue.
Are you not getting notifications that you have comments? I just left you a comment. If your not getting notifications you may need to check your settings.
What is shown on the site is not what the actual comment says. Everytime someone leaves a comment it shows that same thing. People are leaving actual comments but the only thing that shows on the site is..
"Hi, this is a comment.
To delete a comment, just log in and view the post's comments. There you will have the option to edit or delete them."
I don't have a plugin for messages, only what comes within Wordpress and the them I am using for the site. News mix Lite
Yea not sure why those messages keep coming up. May need to refresh your page. May have a bug. May have to message IT more additional help.
I'm not sure what you are asking but if you want to reply to someone's comment just reply on your site.
Please visit my website and scroll to the bottom. You will see what I am talking about thanks.
Log into Wordpress go down the left hand side you will see a menu labelled comments, click on comments and delete that comment from there.

I would like to think I know how to do that based off the time I have spent trying to fix this issue but maybe I don't. How would you go about turning on comments in Wordpress?
You probably know this already but when you sign in to your dashboard at the top right it shows a menu called turn comments on or off and in there you choose all the criteria you desire. If all of this fails sometimes it's just a question of rebooting your computer and resetting your router, sometimes they have corrupted files.
I ended up writing IT they suggested I change my theme. Although I didn't really want to my comments started showing once I changed the whole theme completely. It may have been a blessing in disguise because I think this one looks a little better!
Amazing isn't it? I just looked at your site, thought to myself this is a good design and there are the comments, then I come back in and re-read your post to see that the problem is fixed.
Bad luck to choose a theme not suited to your needs, but this looks the goods
Im just going to chalk this one up to destiny! The problem made me literally go to every setting and page within Wordpress. Now I feel even more comfortable with the site, also it lead to me finding a better theme when I thought I was already set. All in all I am grateful and satisfied with the outcome. Also, Thanks for the feedback on the site!

Your site looks fantastic. You've done a great job! And I see that the comments are all in now. Glad your new theme fixed it. (Just checking in to troubleshoot. ;)
