New Site Progress (1 month)

This is just an update on my progress with my new second site. Everything has been easier the second time around.

It has been one productive month for me as I have written a post a day for the whole month. I have published 39 posts total with 30 being done in the month of August.

I have become a writing fiend. I literally don’t feel like I am doing anything productive unless I am writing! I am addicted. I hope I can keep this pace up for another 2 months. My current goal is to get to 100 posts and then take a break.

I created a lead magnet and uploaded it to my site. I set up my opt-in form and my autoresponder.

I created an Instagram account for my site and in two weeks I have gained 30 followers.

I created a Pinterest account at the beginning of the month and now have 14 followers 12,500 impressions, 36 saves, and 37 pin clicks. This is much more engagement than on my last site.

This is all thanks to Jay’s “How to Repurpose Content” For Social Media Series.

I’ve been able to post to both social media platforms on a daily basis thanks to having a new post every day. I also have several more I can post as back up.

I am excited for the future with the way I am progressing!

Now I am in the MMO niche so it will take 400-500 well written posts to gain any traction in the niche so I still have a LONG way to go but I am excited to see where this journey takes me.

For those struggling to write content, it is easier to write when you know your subject well. I worked on my last site for over a year with little to know traction. Writing posts for the niche was difficult, frustrating, and generally no fun but I kept at it. The fact is I was doing things all wrong and realized that I was just throwing away all my efforts by continuing down the rabbit hole.

For me, it was time for a change. The good news is I learned a lot in that year and I have been able to take that experience and turn it in to a positive one for my new site and as you can see, I am on overdrive full of hope, conviction, and determination.
