Call to Action Button

To begin this post I have to give props to my fellow member here at WA for turning me onto this free tool. BarryBullard and his business partner as he likes to refer to him as (sometimes I think it's his imaginary friend haha) wrote this post.

The tool is amazing, free and you can create your own call to action button for any post you share anywhere. Thank you Barry I read your posts all the time and love what you offer up here.

I have become so smitten with this tool, mainly because I have a decent social media following and this tool was made for that but I want to show you something even cooler that they offer in the form of a script you can put on your site that will make every outbound link a call to action button but not as far as the search engines think. I will get back to this later.

So below is a banner I run on my site:

This is because Sniply has an affiliate program but that is not why I am writing this post. If you go back to Barry's post you can see that the call to action button that is at the bottom of the article can be implemented on every blog post you share but this has a shortened link and sometime gets picked up by social media as an affiliate link and we know how much G+, Pinterest and the big FB don't like those things. However, I do share them with great success, especially on retweets and the beauty of it is....

I do this all the time anyway because I love to share cool stuff when I find it but now I can add a totally unobtrusive, inconspicuous and quite pleasant call to action button to everything I share as well.

Very cool thing indeed, especially if you have a fair amount of SM followers to share it with. All this is basically a reiteration of Barry's post but what is the coolest thing of all is below.

As you can see the outbound link above is to a list of tools that I refer to as a few gems is a full and complete link, no affiliate markings or gibberish. As far as the search engines are concerned I am being a friendly blogger sending my readers to a fellow online marketer because of their excellent content. Which I am but when they get there voila:

My call to action button is right there on the bottom left, just hanging out waiting for someone to come along and click on it. Yet they can still read the article without hindrance and it is not popping up in their face and all that. Not to mention you can click around this site all you want and the call to action button is going to stay right there the whole time.

Sniply gives you the ability to do this though a script you put on your site so every outbound link has your call to action on it automatically. I am just testing conversion but I thing it is a pretty neat tool and it's FREE!
